The Reserve is a massive underground cave system that is the home of the remaining dragons after the Star War. Its filled with all kinds of plants and animals, and its always expanding and growing..
Argyl- Argyl is a human and the son of a dragon hunter named Cameron, and is supposed to train to become one too. Until he and his best friend, Lian, fall down a hole and nearly splat on the ground. Luckily, they are both saved by a dragon and taken to see the queen. There, they meet Moon and Sunny, along with Queen Lyra and King Orion. He is pretty introverted, and loves reading, stargazing, and learning about the dragons and magical creatures that inhabit their world.
Moon - Moon is a pure blood starscales dragon, and the heir to the throne of the Reserve, along with her sister, Sunny. Though Sunny doesn't want the throne. Moon is incredibly closed off and doesn't trust outsiders, especially humans, but when two strange humans stumble across their underground home, that just might change. Her secondary gender is queen.
Sunny - Sunny is a pureblood starscales dragon, Moon's sister, and basically the embodiment of happy. Literally. Always cheerful, loves playing with little dragonets, and was the one to suggest instead of killing the humans who fell into their home, they teach them their ways and show them the true history of the Star War. She can be a bit oblivious sometimes, but in a fight she is incredible skilled with a bow and arrow. Her secondary gender is queen.
Blade, - Blade is a Sharpscale and a total hopeless romantic. Huge crush on Sunny, but shes absolutly oblivious. He was abandoned by his aunt after his mother died, and he was forced to survive on his own for the first three years of his life. Luckily, King Orion found him during a patrol on the surface and brought him under his wing. At first, adjusting to life in the Reserve was tough. He hoarded food and supplies for the first few weeks before the king corrected this behavior, but with help from the community he settled in just fine. When he turned five, he became an apprentice of the Dragon Guardians, with his mentor being a wizened old flamescale dragon named Ember, who was the commander of the guard before he passed it on to Blade when he completed his training. His secondary gender is Alpha.
Dagger - Dagger like Blade, is a sharpacale dragon. But a strange one at that. Instead of the famous spines covering the tail of a typical Sharpscale, he has normal scales on his tail. Instead, he can launch curved spines out of his wrists. Most Sharpscales don't talk to him because of this, but he's good friends with Blade. He met Candle by chance, after Blade was injured during a trip to the surface and urgently needed medical attention. Candle came to the rescue and saved his life with her healing magic. Dagger was smitten with her. After that he constantly followed her around, helping her out at her cafe, flirting with her, etc. Shortly after meeting her he was invited to train to be a Guardian, and he happily accepted. His secondary gender is Vanguard.
Candle - Candle is a sweetscale dragon! The only dragon tribe capable of using healing magic, and a skilled one at that. She runs a cafe in the market section of the Reserve that has been passed down in her family for generations. One day, as she was closing up shop, she heard a commotion near the entrance to the Reserve. someone ran by and she asked what was up, and the dragon told her a Guardian apprentice was injured. She immidietly grabbed her supplies and raced to help, and its a good thing she did. The sharpscales wounds were severe, clearly he'd been in a scuffle with a sarco, and if he didn't get help he would bleed out. Luckily, her healing food was enough to get him stable and her intent calmed him down. Even so, he still needed several days to recover because of the severity of his wounds. The other Sharpscale who was with the apprentice she'd come to know as Blade, would not leave her alone. He constantly followed her around, flirting with her, and even offered to help out at her cafe. She supposed she could use the extra talons and let him. A few weeks after the incident with Blade, she received a letter from the royal family formally inviting her to join the Guardians and train has a healer. Her dream was to help as many as she possibly could with her abilities, so she happily accepted. Little did she know her Sharpscale friend was also on the guard. Wait.. why does he have flowers?? Why is he getting her random gifts.. wait is he courting her?? Her secondary gender is Queen
Wire - Wire is a techscale dragon and Moon's best friend. Shes very brash and to the point, no nonsense, and loves tinkering and building things. She is currently being courted by her best friend, Glitch. And Moon is like "Girl no, Alphas all suck" and Wire keeps insisting Glitch is a perfectly fine Alpha and treats her wonderfully. Unlike Moon, shes not completely untrusting of all humans. In fact, she, Lian, and Argyl get along quite well, and Wire and Lian are actively trying to get Moon and Argyl to go on a date. Her secondary gender is queen
Glitch - Glitch is a techscale dragon with the unique ability to manipulate the code of the very world. He tries to be big and confident Infront of Wire, but in reality he's just a big teddy bear. His family is the only one left with the blood of the coders, since most of them were wiped out during the Star War. He's courting Wire, and its going great! other than when Moon growls at him for putting a wing around his girlfriend that is.. His secondary gender is Alpha!
Lian - Lian is very comical. Always joking around, getting into trouble. Unlike Argyl, he was excited to become a dragon hunter before they met the dragons. In fact, it was his fault they fell down that hole. He was trying to find a dragon to kill. Luckily they were saved by Blade, and taken to see the Queen and King of the Reserve. Now he spends his days goofing off with Argyl and their dragon friends, and training with Argyl to be the first humans on the Dragon Guard ever.
