The Horsemen

Welcome to the blog of The Horsemen. We're a group of magicians based out of New York City who have performed across the world, showcasing our own tricks and outing the deception and corruption of others.

We've learned that going dark for 10 years isn't the best look, so we've decided to (securely) keep in touch with the public as we plan our next show. That will be achieved through this blog. If you have any questions for us, send them through the ask box and we'll answer them when we can.

What is the most confusing or annoying thing about working with the Gen Z horseman?

Their inability to find anything interesting sometimes. They see something insane like an upside down room and just say "Cool." (I had to listen to Atlas complain about that for like a week.

Do you ever get tired of people, like Atlas, maybe, enough to just consider conking them out? You know…snap next to their head and tell them goodnight? ;)

Seems to me it’d be an effective way to handle annoying situations. I know I’ll do it plenty, soon as I’ve got the skill.

definitely do not only read the capital letters.

I prefer Shrike, now that the secret is out. Rhodes was a cover name so that I could lead from behind the curtains. It helped with becoming an FBI agent and keeping my head down while working on plans for the shows. But I have to say, not having that workload means I can focus more on my horsemen and helping them out, which is nice.

And while sending birds through the internet isn't exactly a trick anyone's figured out yet (except through ordering them online, I suppose), the attempt is charming.

then bosco he’s just as much for doing random shit as I am it’s great he loves fast stuff

then june because we’re literally the same and she usually only passes on it if it’s something she’s already done before because somehow she’s done EVERYTHING I wanna do already

next is lula because she’s pretty much up for whatever at any given moment but she’s not dragging ME to do stuff with her it’s usually the other way around :( she does mess around with ingredients and concoctions a lot but no real hype stuff

next is charlie he doesn’t realllly care for it but I can practically FEEL how cool he thinks I am so I could probably peer pressure him if I really wanted to

next is Henley, she’s too boring she’s always like “that seems dangerous” and “don’t touch that” and “don’t drink that” she’s nooo fun

last is danny. i asked him if he wanted to come to 7/11 with me last week and he said he’d rather eat glass.

so yea that’s the rundown

I can think of a few times where it's gone past lighthearted into more...throwing whatever props we have around. And trust me, however hard you think Jack can throw cards, he can do it twice as hard. And you don't want to get in the way of that.

It's all in good fun, of course. Most of the time.

I would probably say Gonzo! I really resonate with him having big aspirations. Maybe one day I'll be as great a performer as he is.

Oh crap, that's a difficult question. I don't know? It sort of just, happened. I wasn't really inspired to make a career out of it. There was no big wow-moment or a person I looked up to who triggered it. I guess I've just always loved magic and when I made people love my magic too, they started paying for it willingly so I thought, why the hell not? And started doing real shows.

That's all there is, so I guess you could say it was just the art of magic in general. Thanks for asking!

idk if you’ve ever heard of this but there’s this small band called imagine dragons? also Bosco just put me on this song he’s got really indie music taste it’s called barbie girl it’s very cool def check it out but generally just hype stuff like that if you’ve ever heard of those also shawn mendes is pretty fire too
