*Nightmare jumps a little and turns around to see Tech* “O-oh! Tech! Hey…!” *He blushes a little when he sees the box* “Ya got me somethin’? How did ya get somethin’ that big on such short notice, I didn’t even tell ya about my birthday…!” *He chuckles a little* “Either way, thank ya.” *He smiles slightly nervously, trying not to embarrass himself in front of Tech by seeming too ‘soft’*

*Tech giggles and sets the box down and smiles back at Nightmare* “Y-Yea, I’ve been gathering things for weeks now actually but that’s besides the point. You can open the box in a sec there’s something I have to do first thought…” *He trails off as he rushes at Nightmare, hugging him tightly.*

*He quickly hugs back, chuckling a little* “Sorry we haven’t talked in a while… I-I missed ya.”

*He holds him tightly, feeling the tears spill from under his mask* “I-I missed you so much… I-I’m so sorry we haven’t talked.”

*Tech gives him one last squeeze before releasing him from the hug* “You can look in the box now if you want, there’s something special at the bottom.”

“A-alright then…!” *He hurries over to the box and kneels down and chuckling a little* “Y'know, I haven’t gotten a whole present-in-a-gift-box-with-wrapping-paper kinda thing in a long time. I’ve missed that… Thanks.” *He takes off a glove and starts to rip the box open with the claw on his pointer finger*

*Tech smiles happily to himself, thinking of all the flowers he had gathered. The small plushie he found of himself, the box of chocolate, the dumb small plastic ring with a heart on it. And the card at the bottom of the whole thing, he smiled brighter at the thought of all the effort he put into it.*

*He lets out a little gasp as he opens the box, revealing everything inside. He takes each item out one by one, looking at each one for a bit. He seems a bit embarrassed seeing the box of chocolates, realizing he never told Tech that he was unable to eat. "I-I-" *Tech leaned in towards Nightmare a bit, not making the move unless he was okay with it.*

*Nightmare jumps a little and turns around to see Tech* “O-oh! Tech! Hey…!” *He blushes a little when he sees the box* “Ya got me somethin’? How did ya get somethin’ that big on such short notice, I didn’t even tell ya about my birthday…!” *He chuckles a little* “Either way, thank ya.” *He smiles slightly nervously, trying not to embarrass himself in front of Tech by seeming too ‘soft’*

*Tech giggles and sets the box down and smiles back at Nightmare* “Y-Yea, I’ve been gathering things for weeks now actually but that’s besides the point. You can open the box in a sec there’s something I have to do first thought…” *He trails off as he rushes at Nightmare, hugging him tightly.*

*He quickly hugs back, chuckling a little* “Sorry we haven’t talked in a while… I-I missed ya.”

*He holds him tightly, feeling the tears spill from under his mask* “I-I missed you so much… I-I’m so sorry we haven’t talked.”

“It’s alright, I’m just glad you’re here now…” *He smiles a bit*

*Tech gives him one last squeeze before releasing him from the hug* “You can look in the box now if you want, there’s something special at the bottom.”

“A-alright then…!” *He hurries over to the box and kneels down and chuckling a little* “Y'know, I haven’t gotten a whole present-in-a-gift-box-with-wrapping-paper kinda thing in a long time. I’ve missed that… Thanks.” *He takes off a glove and starts to rip the box open with the claw on his pointer finger*

*Tech smiles happily to himself, thinking of all the flowers he had gathered. The small plushie he found of himself, the box of chocolate, the dumb small plastic ring with a heart on it. And the card at the bottom of the whole thing, he smiled brighter at the thought of all the effort he put into it.*

*He lets out a little gasp as he opens the box, revealing everything inside. He takes each item out one by one, looking at each one for a bit. He seems a bit embarrassed seeing the box of chocolates, realizing he never told Tech that he was unable to eat. When he gets to the ring, he decides to put it on jokingly, and finally picks up the card to open*

*He watches Nightmare go through the box, every item closer to the card. His blush grows as he thinks about the amout of times he messed up on the card and threw it out. Why was it so hard to just makea simple card to ask someone out? He looked at his feet as Nightmare picked up the card*

*Nightmare rips the envelope open with the same claw he opened the box with, and starts to read it. He had almost forgotten about the existance of cards like this in general, he had only gotten a few in his life, which he got a very long time ago. He also wonders what Tech wrote in the card that he couldn’t say to his face*

*As time ticked by Tech got more and more nervous about the card. It may have looked like your standard birthday card, but it wasn’t. It was covered in small doodles Tech did of Nightmare. And in the middle of the whole thing was a simple ‘Would you like to go out with me’ but he was still scared. There was a giant possibility he’d say no. There was a possibility that while he was gone he had found someone new. There were so many possibilities, he tried to clear them of his mind.*

*As Nightmare reads the middle of the card, he jumps a little in surprise, tearing up, blushing and smiling all at once. He can’t believe it actually says it, but he’s so happy it does. Almost to the point that he’s left speechless* “W-wh… Tech I-I…”

*Tech blushes hard and buries his face hin his hands, he starts rambling off apologies* “I-I’m so sorry…I should have known…I didn’t…I just…I-I-I-m so so-sorry…

*He quickly gets up and grabs Tech by the shoulders* “N-no wait, ya didn’t give me time ta say yes…!” *He smiles reassuringly, but also seeming very happy and hopeful that Tech will be happier in a second*

*Tech slips off his mask, comfortable without it on around Nightmare. He looks him in the eyes* “A-Are you sure? You don’t have to say yes if you don’t want to. I-I’d understand…”

*He chuckles a little* “Why would I say yes if I didn’t wanna?”

*His face is bright with green as he darts his eyes around the area, looking for an escape he can’t find* “I- well- you- we- I’m-” *He screams internally because he can’t for sentences all of a sudden*

*Nightmare chuckles again* “Calm down, alright? Ya asked me and I said yes, now there’s nothin’ ta worry about, okay? Well- unless ya change your mind, I mean I wouldn’t wanna make ya regret somethin’ ya just started, right?” *He grins a little*

*Tech makes a whining noise* OfcourseIwon'tchangemymineIloveyoutomuch *He said that probably way to fast but he honestly wouldn't ever take back asking out Nightmare. He loves the weird demon to much*
