YOUR ROLE IN THIS BLOG

You came across a Pokémon Gold cartridge with no label, save for a red X drawn in sharpie where the sticker should be. You boot it up and the first thing you come across his being face to face with that generations rival, Silver. Only this sprite or his is bloodied. You communicate with the scared rival through voice and text box.

Heheh !! I’ll give you something shiny everyday if you want, like bottle tabs, cans, rocks, or even some keychains !

Hmm.. Would you like a shiny rock ? I give them to friends or people ive talked to a bit, if you want to consider us friends though its totally fine by me xP

“Shiny rock?”

He suddenly seems interested, easily distracted from being tense a few seconds ago at the mention of something shiny.

“May I have one..?”

I go by a few names, so feel free to give me one since I can’t pick hehe- I’m not exactly sure how to explain that, though, besides that it’s coming through the mic.. Speaking of names, may I ask yours ?

“Mic..?”

He hums quietly for a second.

“Then.. I’ll just refer to you as Person.”

There is a brief pause of silence, before he speaks up again.

“My name? It’s.. Silver..”

He says it like he had trouble recalling.

“Uhm… I’m fine-“

He says it uncertainly, moving his hand to wipe away from on the blood pouring from his face, though his efforts are in vain. He suddenly seems very cautious.

“Who are you? Where is your voice coming from?”

“Huh…?”

A bloodied Silver turns to look at you once you’ve caught his attention by speaking through the mic of your headphones plugged into the GBC.
