Ah so it seemed that Chrom had actually welcomed the stray. Tharja had lingered, simply to wait for the outcome. Normally people didn’t really notice her ‘stalking’ but the other seemed quite perceptive. When it became clear that he had noticed him she straightened up and walked towards him. “Now about that debt…”.
“Y-you were serious about owing you?” Shulk feigned innocence with his question, shrinking back a step as the mage approached. Of course she was serious - Tharja definitely seemed the type who wouldn’t let a debt go that easily. And that’s what made the blond fear for his life. “Just what exactly are you planning, anyway?” Part of him REALLY didn’t want to know the answer to that question, though.
"Finding competent assistance is hard in this camp... Either the girls are all falling at Chrom's feet or the men bash their heads together in so called combat" Tharja scoffed. "You seem relatively sane and level headed, a perfect test subject for some ancient tomes I am trying to translate...".
