Sea Salt swims closer towards the shore to meet Panini, her upper body rising above the water while her long tailed swayed below, the light reflecting off her glittering scales.
“If you say so, Miss Panini… But it would be awful to have to wash it all over again if it gets dirtied. A friend once told me ‘prevention is better than cure’, after all.
Regardless, what brings you here to the ocean today?” she asked in curiosity.
“A once in a lifetime event called ‘a break’,” Panini chuckles. She hums softly before continuing. “A break from the cooking, the serving and the… terrible terrible… terrible jokes.” Panini groans as if she’s trying to avoid a bad memory.

“Terrible jokes?” Sea Salt repeats, giggling at the mention. “You must have have very good friends. I’d love to meet them someday- it’d be wonderful to have make more friends outside of the ocean.

She gave Sea Salt an empathetic smile. “As fun as that sounds I’m afraid I’d have the pass. My friends will surely disturb your peace, my dear mermaid friend.”

Sea Salt simply laughs off the comment, one hand cupped over her mouth to mask the chuckle.
“Oh, I’ve experienced my own fair share of chaos before, as unlikely as that sounds. The ocean is not as peaceful as one might imagine it to be, and I can’t imagine anything worse happening on land.”
Sea Salt perks up as she remembers something, and dives back into the water only to resurface a moment later with an ornate clay bowl decorated with smooth stones of bright bright colors.
“Ah, here- a little gift for you and your friends. Even if I won’t get to see them, do let them know that there’s a certain mermaid in the ocean who would love to meet them, if ever.”
She smiles and shifts closer inland to push the bowl across the sand to where Panini sits.
Panini picks up the bowl with care, as if it’d break at the smallest prick. “Thank you so much,” she flashed a tender smile to Sea Salt. “I’m sure they’ll love it.”
Holding the bowl in one hand, she pushed herself from the ground with the other. “My break will probably be over soon. I’ll bring back my more calm friend over to meet you once thr work day is over. And a gift for you as well.”

Sea Salt returns the smile as Panini gets up from the sand, eyes bright at the prospect of another meeting in the future.
"I do look forward to it, Miss Panini. Your friends are always welcome by the ocean anytime."
Just like that, she gives a small wave before dipping back into the water with the slightest of splashes, white hair catching the light for just a moment before it blurred into the dark along with her silhouette.

When you asked for an age for Sea Salt I just threw out a number from the top of my head. I honestly didn't put in much consideration into her age considering again, I designed Sea Salt with the concept of "an eternal maiden from the ocean". I hadn't known about how old Pork Cutlet was supposed to be- the ship only came about because of the rp the both of us did (which you can find by scrolling down).
In the previous answer, "food souls don't have real age so it's fine" is exactly what I had not wanted to come off as. I simply answered the very first question "how old does Sea Salt is to look" because you were curious. You were the one who had chosen to make a connection between that and the ship when frankly, there never was one in the first place.
If you don't like the ship or if it makes you uncomfortable, you're free to not ship it. This was only a fun thing that came about between me and Pork mun. The question to how old Sea Salt looks wasn't relevant to this at first when you asked the first question, which I responded to without taking into account much else since you appeared to only be asking out of curiosity.
This has gone quite off topic for this rp blog, and I don't want to repeatedly spam my followers over this debate. If you wish to continue, you may just dm me here or on my main blog (@riiiiikamo) instead of sending messages here on anon.
Perhaps you could make better use of the ask function to ask sea salt a question instead of me. DMs exist for a reason.

Hey, If pork's Mun has stated her to be a child, and sea salt is physically 21. Is it really okay to ship them? I'm assuming this is meant as a romantic ship.
[ Oh, so was that the reason for the ask?
Well, when I said she looked 21, I only meant her appearance (as in she looks 21) since again, I didn't design Sea Salt with any particular age in mind. She's supposed to be a maiden of the ocean- now that was my original intention.
If we're talking about actual ages then obviously shipping a 21-year-old and a kid wouldn't be right, but the ship mostly came about from an ask I received from @askporkcutlet to which I responded with a bit of teasing on my part to poke fun at our local lesbiabs.
Us shipping them together was because of this roleplay the both of us did. By no means do I support ped*philia if that's what you may be worried about.
The Pork Cutlet x Sea Salt ship is just the product of a fun roleplay between this blog and Pork Cutlet's.

Just wondering, around what age is Sea Salt to look?
[ By 'to look', do you mean how old she looks based off appearance?
Well, honestly speaking, I didn't really think of that while designing Sea Salt. I mostly thought of her design as one of those 'eternal maidens' kind of thing.
But if I had to say, perhaps she'll look around... 21? I'm not so sure myself actually so I'm just throwing a number out there.

Though I haven’t been involved with many other OCs in the community, I do have a small ship. Not as far to call it my “OTP”, but it’s as close as I can get:I really like Sea Salt (cough @ask-sea-salt ) and Pork Cutlet together, since they’re the only two to have shown any kind of non-platonic feelings for each other on this blog. Jeyuk Bokkeum, though she has no current pairings as of right now, is known for flirting with many women during her travels, so there’s also that?? "Ah, I'm actually a support food soul!
It may not seem like it at first because I can't actually heal wounds... after all, salt water would only make an injury hurt more.
But what I can do is disperse of ailments and help increase energy to focus in battle.
It's not much, but I try to help everyone as much as I can."

Sea Salt washes her teammates with salt water, dispersing negative effects from a random teammate and increasing their energy by 10 for 3 seconds.
Salt Spring (Energy Skill)
Sea Salt fills her clay bowls with water before pouring them out, cleansing all teammates of negative effects, increasing their energy by 40 and bleeding her enemies, dealing 40% of ATK stat per second for 3 seconds.
Super Salt Spring (Energy Skill)
Sea Salt fills her clay bowls with water before pouring them out, cleansing all teammates of negative effects, increasing their energy by 50 and bleeding her enemies, dealing 60% of ATK stat per second for 5 seconds.
Skill activated when Fish and Chips, Sea Salt, enters battle together. This will replace the energy skill.
Do you have any weapons?

I don't think I have any weapons, persay. The most I carry with me are extra clay bowls, but I'm not sure if that could be counted as a weapon.
