why did i name it in metaphors? like a coward trying to make something lowly seem more dignified than it truly is

i should have named it what it is, already uttered in the first line: a fight or flight instinct

might delete later when im feeling less delirious but just dumping this here if i can just be ectremely honest and confess for a minute its weird to seriously consider making a priv/reviving this tumblr for hornyposting because i genuinely just have never done it ever. lowkey repressed bc ive never felt safe enough witb the main group of guys ive been friends with for years to do so (or any groups in recent times really but mostly them for more reasons than one) and the last time i couls freely chat about things like that was years ago with a friend im no longer close with so ive just had these things locked up in my brain not necessaeily with the notion that its Bad (but to an extent, yes, that its not wronf to have these thoughts but its certainly Never Appropriate to express them) and its just very odd that my new interest in recent times has kinda have had these convos bringing it up casually with mutual comfort and im just like huh. didnt know that was an option

#a bit sad because i lowkey really love this one #autofiction is such a good hard hitting album to me and songs like Ditch #The Sound Of Changing Place #and Autofiction are just. man.#but no one will see it and even less people would ask or comment about the art and what it means to me to have made this.#i forced myself to sleep at 11 because escaping to unconsciousness was the only way i could stop thinking and crying.#i woke up at 3am with my head spinning with thoughts so loud i couldn't even keep my eyes closed.#the heater was broken and i was freezing even under my jacket and blanket covers.#the sound of rain against my window sounded more like pelting bits of stone.#unable to sleep i flipped the switch by my bedside back on and stumbled to my desk #and the first thing i did when my pc booted on was to put on the album again.#i thought i would do work and be productive #but instead i opened clip studio with my chest pounding and an image stark and burning in front of my eyes.#this is that picture.#i repeated the album almost 4 times until 7.30 am and it was only right #to put the same lyrics that kept resounding in my head and quieting everything else
