Ask The Mysterious Construct & Calamo

C: I thought it'd be great of me to let you ask aaaaaaalll the questions yer heart desires 'bout yours truly! that would be me, Calamo, the travelling Korok! and i guess you can ask something to my bud, the mysterious construct too! though he aint much of a talker, but i know enough 'bout him to answer for 'em!

Though, we've gotta establish a few rules, don't we?

hey!! i wanted to dabblle in the Construct/Calamo dynamic a bit, and thought of making an ask blog for them both! lets go over those rules now:

Absolutely no hatespeech of any kind (homophobia, racism, if any of those are in my asks, i wll simply ignore/block)

No NSFW questions (i'm not a minor, but i feel it wouldn't fit the characters at all to have that kind of content)

Doing roleplay or ooc asks is fine!

Do not spam asks, know i might be busy with irl things first and foremost.

I have all the rights to ignore any ask i deem uncomfortable.

I might write full stories without asks, and most asks will definitly be followed by art.

I really love this duo, and i really wanna show my appreciation to them by being as canon compliant as possible, but exploring their dynamic deeper as well.

This blog is run by @adventum-vaqui (Main), or @ad-v-zeldarot (Zelda ocs/fanart focused blog, on which i'm currently posting wips of the knight constuct full cosplay if you're interested!).

How do you prepare for battle? Where do you get all those elemental fruits?

C: Don't ya think i'll go spewing all my battle secrets just like that! A great warrior always keeps some things to themselves.

I'll have you know that I, as a korok, am very connected to allllll the nature of Hyrule, so finding all that stuff i might need comes like a sitxth sense of sorts. There, ya happy?

It TOTALLY don't matter that Bud here has a sensor for finding things. DEFINITELY unrelated AND unused.

C: Vence? What are you doin' all the way out here? It's good to see ya pal! we were just talkin' 'bout you and Raph!

Me and Bud have been just fine, besides when he brings me to battle unnannounced, how about ya?

And Raphica's comin' too? Well that's a delight for sure!

You two been scouting? is there anythin' goin' on? bud hasn't taken me anywhere for a while now...wonder if his super sensors became faulty after all that fightin'! he's been wearing me out ya know!!

C: Lonely you say? Ya hear that bud? this guy thinks we need to talk to be a match!

And i'll have you know, bein' a talker, it's much more nice to have a lisner by yer side. Can't tell if he really listens to me though, he's always going the compelte opposite of lil' old me!

Besides, he ain't the only friend i got. There's my brothers in Korok forest, and Raphica and Vence of the Rito! haven't talked to 'em much since i last saw 'em though. I know for sure i ain't visiting soon either. Hebra's such a hassle! my body suffered that awful wheater enough!

C: Oh! I mean, we're not fully carnivorous, but we do love our meat! It gets us full o' energy for our activities! We don't eat too often though, we're still spirits.

Though...meat IS really good. After battle i like to charge my energy to the fullest and i'm not picky! i'd eat any type of meat with no problem.

I did find that my bud here really likes apples! Apparently they're a simple enough meal he can absorb into his system. Fast and effective, just like 'em!

C: Great question! We were just resurfacing when we spotted a group of Gerudo bein' attacked by shades! I, of course willingly stepped in to help 'em, and once i used all my skill to drive them monster away, bud just rushed off, and of course i HAD to follow him, before he got into any danger. I climbed on its back, and boom! We were flying over a cliff!

Thats when i found out he'd got wings of it's own!

C: Huh?? why'd you ask him? not like he'll answer ya! Umm, Bud?

C: Well, i don't talk 'bout my life before i started travellin' much, but i guess if you're that curious about yours truly, and since you're a big fan, i can spill the beans on some details!

Levitating on a Korok leaf takes a long time to master, and i've got plenty better things to do! Also, it's only for the brothers that decide to stay as Korok and never become trees. I'll tell ya, i'd rather grow as the biggest tree in Hyrule than float around. Besides, now i've got Bud to fly me around!

I haven't found myself saying Yah-ha-ha anymore really, not my style anymore, right Bud? I'm way cooler that THAT now.

And yeah! I can appear and reappear! But i aint goin' nowhere, just, turnin' myself invisible and then visible again. Nothin' too crazy about it! Thoug i'll idmit...i never thought of being dramatic with it. Thanks a bunch pal!

C: I mean, the first few times where by accident, or it was convinient, since he managed to get us out of the depths. But after a while i knew it'd be the fastest way to find the best place to take root!

And even if he brings me to the battlefield, it's only fair i use my exeptional skill to help those in need! And maybe get a lil something in return.

C: Favourite color ya ask? Well, i gues you could guess by the colour of my scarf! Orange just hits right, energetic and flashy like the wearer!

My bud? I mean...he aint showing interesti in much other than the monsters 'round these parts, so if i had to guess, red for the blood of his enemies!! Nah, kiddin', he ain't violent like that. He's calm most times, keeps to himself. So that weird light blue of the energy runnin' thru 'em would be my best guess.
