Don’t freak out it doesn’t mean the devil is gonna get ya or anything. The Devil in its upright position means being obsessed or having an addiction to something. While The Devil in its reversed position means breaking free from obsession and addiction. Like letting go of bad habits, bad relationships, or bad thoughts.

Forbidden spells are... well, forbidden for a reason. Usually the ones that are used by the great villains of old that really put the hero in a hard spot. Or sometimes could just be their favourite spell, since Auradon doesn't like letting people have fun things. And spells that harm a lot of people in a short amount of time, completely irreversible ones with big consequences, etcetera
