Maybe, even, should I start this back up? From scratch?

"Don't you mean 'tis the season to be JOLY?!" Courfeyrac says, laughing too hard at his own joke."I don't know about you but I'd rather be jolly..." Bahorel interjects."I'm jolly!" Joly attempts to clarify before shooting a look at Courfeyrac that says 'don't you dare'."I've managed to rope Combeferre into Christmas decorating!" Jehan grins, pulling a piece of tinsel from a box behind the counter and draping it round Combeferre's shoulders. He doesn't shake the decorations from him but instead seems to embrace it."What can I say," he says. "Everyone loves Christmas.""Well not everyone..." Enjolras begins to say before a simultaneous "Noooooo!" is shouted by Courfeyrac, Jehan and Bahorel.Propped up against the bar Grantaire smirks in Enjolras' direction. "Even the grinch will love Christmas when I'm done with him." He mutters, twirling a sprig of mistletoe between his fingers.

no it's not, I've just not been on plus I've not had any RPs come through so I don't know if tumblr's being horrible and eating messages again or if everyone's just busy!

"Then have faith in yourself." He pulled back and wiped a tear from beneath her eye and kissed the tip of her nose.All of a sudden there was a crash from the kitchen and they both jumped and looked round to see Jack stood in the doorway."What was that noise?" Joly asked, and all Jack could do was point back into the kitchen with an odd sort of look on his face.

Grantaire blinked twice, wondering if his eyes were deceiving him. This girl must be an angel."I...thank you Madame..." he said, still clutching the arm that saved him. His glass of wine had fallen to the floor and the girl picked it up and handed it to him."I think i'll go steady for the rest of the evening." he said and she nodded, but he noticed a flicker of pain in her eyes. "Is your arm alright?"

Grantaire breathed in the fresh air for a while and once he got bored he turned round to enter the room but the wine went to his head all of a sudden and he stumbled, falling back into the curtain. A hand grabbed his arm and he looked up to see a flash of Aqua eyes.

As Grantaire walked precariously towards the window a leaf blew out from behind the billowing curtain, landing in his sloshing glass of wine. He shrugged to himself and picked it out shaking the liquid off it and letting it fly out the window. He leaned against the pane and for a second caught a flash of aqua blue eyes to his left. He blinked and looked again but the eyes were nowhere to be seen. He sighed and sipped his wine, exhaling heavily as if blowing out smoke.

Grantaire jumped (or rather fell) from the table, taking a few moments to steady himself. He stumbled over to the bar where Enjolras was, helping himself to another bottle of wine and leaving his glass abandoned on the bar."Grantaire, why don't you go and get some air?" Enjolras suggested, trying to prise the bottle of wine from his hands."I'm fine." he snapped, tightening his grip on the bottle."'Taire, please." Enjolras said, taking the bottle and putting it back on the counter and shooting him a look."Fine." he replied, but snatched up the bottle and filled his glass with wine. "But I'm taking this with me."He proceeded to walk towards the only open window in the room, where the curtains were still flapping madly.

"You have to trust me, my love." Was Joly's simple reply. He took her into his arms and pulled her close, wanting nothing more than to pass his belief into her, hoping that if he held her long enough, she would start to believe too. Believe that she was as good a mother as he knew she was.

Jehan stopped walking and stood very still. The girl next to him fiddled with a loose thread on her scarf as she waited for a response."Well I can tell you I was not expecting that." Jehan said, a slight humour could be sensed in his tone which allowed the girl to relax a little, but his expression grew slightly concerned."Are you planning on telling him? Either of them?" He asked.

thanks Kirsty 😘 I'm sorry for being a terrible mod 😂 hopefully now all my friends have gone to uni i'll be on more often, I didn't quite anticipate how difficult adult life was to fit everything in 🙈

honestly. I'd come up with some excuse as to why I haven't been on but in honest truth I forgot... I promise to try and get better at coming on and I apologise for not being consistent in my rping at the moment. I thought I'd be better at this than I have been, and I am sorry for it. If I ever haven't been on in a while feel free to send me a message on my personal tumblr because I should be better at this. I am so sorry to all of you.
