I have had this blog since 2013 but I didn’t have the courage to post my works until late 2016, which is the first time I joined the tumblr ichihime fandom. I had my doubts about my own art skill, and the first time I actually braved myself to post something… I wanted to delete that post in merely two minutes after I posted it. (laughs) I still had the urge to delete my works immediately after posting them until now. I can be the worst coward you can ever meet.

But you can’t imagine how happy and shocked I was when someone responded to my first posts! That was the first time anyone had ever positively responded to my art in the seven years I taught myself how to draw, I was shook. I had never shown my works to anyone before, fearing that they wouldn’t be accepted anywhere, but now that I found a place where they were accepted, I slowly grew more confident.

I wouldn’t be here without your support.

GREETINGS, LOVED ONES! After taking a brief hiatus from hosting holiday-themed exchanges, we’re back to kick off the new year with our IchiHime Valentine’s Exchange! ♥

Signups will be held from January 3rd until January 10th. Our sign-up form can be found HERE. If you’ve participated in our previous Exchanges, you’re probably already familiar with our rules- but let’s do a quick refresher for IH Exchange veterans and newbies alike!

RULES:

You may contribute with any type of media you like, including (but not limited to): fanart, fanfic, graphics, AMVs/MMVs, and fanmixes. Just please remember to keep your gift IchiHime-centric and fulfilling the prompt of the person you’ve been matched up with.

Match-ups will be decided on the day signups close, and we’ll proceed to inform participants of their match through Tumblr’s IM system or messages. Please make sure you have at least one of these features turned on!

Please refrain from contacting the person you were matched with about the exchange until the deadline, or after you’ve already posted their gift.

No ship-bashing!] This is a celebration of love, not hate. Why waste it focusing on a pairing you hate when it’s all about our favorite cuties?

When signing up, please keep in mind that you are expected to give as well as receive. Do not sign up if you have no intention of creating a gift to give.

That said, if something happens where you’re unable to give your gift due to personal emergencies or inability, LET US KNOW so that we may provide a backup in your stead.

Do not wait until the last minute to make your gift. It’s rude, and people can tell when something is rushed/half-assed.

Gifts that are fanfic have a 1K word length requirement. All fanart and graphics must be fully completed.

The deadline for posting your gift will be from February 14th until February 20th. Please tag all posts pertaining to this event with #IHValentines2018.

A guide to give Kurosaki-san a Christmas present he’ll never forget:

Step 1: Talk to Inoue-san. Tell her he’d be happy if she participated in a surprise gift for Kurosaki-san.

Step 2: Give Inoue-san an actual present to give to Kurosaki-san. Make it reeeeaaally small, for (cough) future use.

Step 3: Put Inoue-san in another box. And yes, literally, put her in a box. Wrap it like you would for a gift.

Step 4: Give Kurosaki-san the box which contains Inoue-san and watch as he opens it.

Note: These steps won’t work unless you’ve made Inoue-san wear one of your special handmade costume; which not only makes her look cute, but also somehow shrinks her into a size fitting inside a small box for present. Which can only be made by someone like Urahara. Which means this guide probably won’t be useful for anyone but Urahara himself.

… I’m probably not the best guide for this, but, eh. Enjoy.

Secret Santa Gift for @ask-kazui -san!!! :DDDDD The prompt was “fluff/cute/humourous of any sort”. I did my best to complete this, even though I’m like!!! A little bit late!!! Because it’s already December 26th in where I come from!!! But I really hope you’ll like it!!!

Also, this is not a part of the gift but more like an extra short comic I came up with after finishing it.
