Where does your dad work? I thought he was a farmer.
Claus: He is a farmer. Claus: However, ever since the whole Transportation Initiative Project came to Tazmily, we’ve become something of a study-abroad area. Claus: A lot of kids from countries like Eagleland transfer over here for trade-school. And in return for the automechanics students helping us with our modernization process, Tazmily offers classes in agriculture.
Claus: So in addition to tending to our own farm, Dad teaches a livestock rearing class. That’s actually how I met Ninten. He’s a study-abroad student from a little town called Podunk. Claus: The big goof is my Dad’s head apprentice. He wants to- get this- devise a way to raise penguins in the countryside. Claus: I don’t know what the fuck he thinks he can harvest from penguins, but he’s brilliant when he works with the cows. I swear, it’s like he speaks their language. Dad’s extremely proud of him.
Claus: Actually, I think Dad’s prouder of Ninten than he is of Lucas or I!
What happened to Kumatora and Duster?
Claus: Duster’s an old family friend. I don’t see him around much anymore, though, because after old man Wess passed on, he and Princess Kumatora of Oshoe got married and moved away. I think they live somewhere around the mountains in one of the old Magypsy huts. Claus: This is honestly a picture of the wedding invite they sent out. Isn’t that something?Claus: I never got close to the princess, even though she’s fond of Lucas. Claus: Boney died a few years ago. His new namesake, Boney Jr., does a good job of keeping me company, though.Claus: I don’t know about “Jeff” or “Poo”, but Lucas sometimes mentions a girl named Paula- who’s apparently very close to Ness.

> I wasn’t able to do anything cool for the last follower milestone, so I thought I might show off some cool concept art as my thanks! A lot of love went into the character design for this blog- especially as I’ve never had to keep up with such consistent models before! So here’s some of the sketches I made while I was still drafting ideas for the blog.
> The first struggle for this blog was nailing Lucas and Claus’ character designs. Especially Claus’, considering he’s the main muse. > I initially played with a lot of concepts for Claus, including a sharper nose, claw marks over his robotic eye, and an undercut! His haircut used to be a lot floofier, too. > Lucas was originally going to have visible blond eyelashes, and a more rounded face.
> Ness’ design came to me the easiest- though there are still some changes between my first draft of Ness and how he appears on the blog! > Ness was originally going to have distinct pupils/iris’ and a more angled eyeshape, but I decided that it made him look too similar to Claus and Lucas. I also planned for Ness to have a slightly more cynical attitude, based on the amount of negatively-emoting eye shape drafts.
> Ninten was the hardest character to design. I struggled especially with his hair and eyes- I wanted him to look distinctly of eastern-Asian heritage.
> An image of Claus’ that’s a little closer to his current design. However, in this sketch, he has a jawline much more similar to Lucas’.
> And finally, a model sheet I recently sketched up to keep me on-track when drawing Claus and Lucas together! I wanted their designs to imply that they were closely related- but because I headcannon them as fraternal twins, I wanted them to look just different enough for one to know they’re not identical. > Other than the obvious differences with their hair and eyes, Lucas has a more squared jaw than Claus, more stress-lines under his eyes, and doesn’t have a visible adam’s apple. They both have upturned noses and similar eye shapes!
Hmph, I find it humorous that you think that your protecting Lucas. Your're so selfish that you really only care about yourself. If you truly cared about Lucas like you claim then you'll butt out. You can't stop them from getting married and I'll personally make sure you don't even if that means permanently making sure you don't do anything.
Claus: I find it humorous that you think you know what’s better for my brother than me.Claus: I also find it humorous that you think I’d be afraid of some sad fucking creep on the internet.
Claus, what would be better, letting your brother go with his significant other, or breaking his heart by driving Ness out of the house? Think about how hurt he would be if you of all people mortally wounded his boyfriend.
Claus: You don’t get it, okay? Claus: I mean- like, you know when you’re a kid, and your parents make you eat your vegetables or whatever, and even though you can’t understand it, and you think they’re the cruelest people on earth, you eventually grow up and realize it was all for your own good. Claus: Maybe I lost my head a little, but Ness… he’s no good. I refuse to let my brother marry that fucking bum. It might hurt him now, but he’ll thank me in time.
Claus: Also, Ness is fine. He’s a PSI-user too, so it’s not like this stuff’s foreign to him. Ness: Ugh. It still hurts, bro. On the inside. Why did you want me to talk to your laptop again? I’ve got to get ready for work. Claus: Some… friends want to know what you like about my brother.
Ness: Oh, I get it. Tryna test me, right man? No prob. Ness: Lucas is… perfect. He’s the most selfless guy I know. Determined, too. And when he smiles with his eyes- well, I’m starstruck every time. He’s cute, he’s honest, and he’s the strongest person I’ve ever met. He really knows how to make a guy feel like he’s worth something, you know?Ness: Also, he deals with you without complaining. That should mark him as an angel in itself. Claus: Watch it, asshole.

Lucas: hi… okay, update. Lucas: claus has gone to bed early, so i may have swiped his laptop to inform every one with what has been going on. Lucas: thankfully, claus was still logged in to his account.
Lucas: okay so… after ness told dad and claus about our marriage plans, claus lost control and… he… he attacked ness. i managed to stop the blast from really hurting ness using a psi shield but ness still is not in great condition. dad and i thought he had a concussion, but i think he will be okay to sleep. he is behind me, on the couch.
Lucas: dad took the engagement news surprisingly well. he told me that he wants to rebuild our relationship, so he wants to support me more. which i am very thankful for.
Lucas: claus is… he went to bed right after the whole ordeal went down. he called everyone a few choice names, and then blocked himself off in his room. i wonder if he is okay, although i hesitate to care…
Claus: If anyone wants to know a little something about my mental state at this point in time it’s pretty much just-
