Ask Haseo

I’ve since deleted all .hack related posts from my main blog, and deleted/orphaned the fanfiction I used to write, but these asks are one thing I’ll never get rid of. I’m not sure if anyone will read this, but it’s nice to have closure I suppose, rather than the usual ‘and so they mysteriously vanished and never posted again’.

P.S. Please don’t send any Last Recode asks, because unless it gets a big price drop in the next Steam sale, sorry to say I won’t get to play it anytime soon. All I’m aware of is that Haseo gets a new outfit which is every bit as ridiculous as his previous ones.

And it’s people like you who are helping to keep this blog alive, so thank you, charming anon!

Not a whole lot of success, but at that age it doesn't matter as much, anyway.

By now I’ve naturally memorized most of his details - for Xth form, anyway, since that’s what I draw most often. When I do need to reference something, my favorite source is the .hack//Archives 02 Black artbook (though I don’t have the actual book, just scans of it). It shows all the major and minor characters’ designs, plus Avatars, weapons and pretty much everything else in The World, so it’s really helpful.

I’ve heard that before, but nobody’s ever told me which episode. I kept an eye out the last time I rewatched Roots, and didn’t spot it, so maybe different versions have different translations of the line, or something like that?

Even if it's often more like 'emailing you directions to some place where you might eventually get a clue'.
