not the same format, but I imagine Russia doesn't make breakfast. 1. America usually gets up first, and she enjoys cooking. 2. Russia has to spend her first 10 minutes in the kitchen making coffee and then staring at her girlfriend in awe. Regardless of what she’s wearing or doing. Literally just sitting there like: 😦 every morning. And she’ll be sad if she doesn’t get to wake up with America. Russia probably has an album of photos of America. I imagine it’s labeled “pretty lady”

America likes to sit on the porch whenever the weather gets noticeably bad (American Bison inspired thing—also inspired by midwestern people when there’s a tornado warning(me)) Russia thinks she is actually insane but will come out there with blankets and warm drinks and maybe a snack. And they just sit on the porch swing and cuddle.

and if i’m there (cuz my bunny sona is just casually canon in the AU world) i would be eating apple slices off a plate and laying on someone’s lap

America likes teasing Russia at inopportune moments. Petting the sensitive place on her wings like a fidget toy. She’ll do this almost anywhere, grocery store, out on the farm, while eating dinner. Russia just kinda sits there every time, her eyebrows a little furrowed but she doesn’t frown or push America off. Cuz it’s her girlfriend touching her, that’s literally her favorite thing!

Russia and America have this bit where Russia brings America lollipops to eat sometimes. It’s because of some history they have from back when Russia was USSR.

They both like listening to the other sing. Neither are very confident in their singing voices, America more self assured than Russia, but they like each other’s singing.

Russia has a hard time managing her emotions, which has been slowly improving over the course of her and America’s relationship. She also sometimes gets violent/lashes out relatively often. Sometimes America stops her, other times she just watches.

in instances where someone got physical first, was/is being annoying, or insulted her or Russia, America won’t stop Russia.

other times, America removed her from the scene to make her calm down and think. Usually, that also includes cuddles. Because it’s hard to be upset about some random person throwing a homophobic comment your way when your face is pressed into your lover’s cleavage.

Which is a cat pouting while cuddling with their owner. Instead, imagine Russia with god-awful, hunchback of Notre Dame, posture because she’d a bit taller than America so she has to lean down pretty hard. Meanwhile America is petting her hair or scrolling on her phone depending on how big Russia’s emotions are.

Russia also gets tummy-time when she isn’t upset. It’s about once a week she’ll find America laying on the couch (or she’ll go find America when she isn’t busy and make her lay on the couch). Russia then gets to lay down on top of her and lay her head on America’s tummy. She does this almost every time she gets drunk too, typically falling asleep there.

Russia has to be able to see America’s face when they cuddle. It’s her preference. America’s only preference is: don’t prevent me from doing what I was doing. (Why Russia usually just cuddles with her when she’s laying down and doing nothing physical) so, America might be cooking or something, and Russia will just stand by the stove so whenever America checks on whats cooking on the stove, Russia gets to hug her from behind her for a bit and set her chin on her shoulder (to see her face). She lets go whenever America walks away. Sometimes she helps mix stuff, but America enjoys cooking and basically any person who likes cooking will tell you the ideal company is just: sit in that chair and stay out of my way but also talk to me and maybe hand me something

they hold conversation while doing this, and Russia does this kitchen one when they have guests over too. She doesn’t liked doing tummy time when there are people over, but if it’s been seven days and she’s out of social battery, she’ll do it. On the floor, on the couch, sometimes she’ll just kneel on the floor in front of America seat (she doesn’t like that one because it’s hard to see America’s face past her boobs when she isn’t laying down/leaned back. Cuz gravity.., if you have tits, you know)

they both said they didn’t understand rabbit anatomy, and I have like 75% of a grasp on it. Anyway, here’s a sped up videos of me playing around with 3 references images and my “start with like kinda a silhouette” method

It’s a pretty long video. Basically, I made a basic shape from preexisting knowledge (I’ve done this like twice before) and found the back legs to be hard. So I focused on those shapes and proportions especially.

after that is a lot of just copying the picture and making mental or physical notes about things I got wrong

USSR

In my AU she is a woman, but basically everything about her is masculine

when I was younger, I recoiled from femininity. Pretty sure it was a trauma response?? But idk because another trauma response I’m definitely experiencing is MEMORY LOSS of the trauma. Anyway, it’s pretty common for little girls to become tomboys (at least in America), because femininity and literally everything associated with being a woman is looked down on, insulted, or diminished. Like the color pink, or unicorns, makeup, or female protagonists in media. So a lot of girls step back and start dressing “like boys” and having “boy hobbies.”

anyway again, USSR wants power. Expansion and resources. As an individual, people would have more respect for her if she was a man. (I gave a modern example, I bet it was 20x worse back in 1940) so she dresses like a man. She probably found some way to bind her chest too.

it isn’t her gender identity. It isn’t her personal taste. She doesn’t know what her personal taste is. She just wants respect and power, and being feminine prevents that.

most people make America a guy(and so draw their America with Liberty, not as her), but mine is a lady

fun fact, it happened before I made this account, I made Russia into the tall lady she is now because of a statue in Russia called “The Motherland Calls”

so Russia used to be a bear twink—I made him short and gave him childhood malnutrition issues. I liked the height difference he and America had, but. Simultaneously, I tried to make him threatening. Didn’t work. He was a chihuahua. Felt kinda diminishing of his plot line and probably wouldn’t have reflected well on any violent action that country made/makes

so now I have 2 very large women who most other people look petite next to. And I like that :)

same plot line, where Russia is pretty emotionally unstable after her persona swap from USSR to Russian Federation. It takes her a while to muster up the courage to talk to America, but one she does they’re pretty quick to get friendly.

America doesn’t stop her from getting violent all the time (because she’s also a flawed and thinks violence is often justifiable). Also, most of the time her efforts aren’t to stop Russia (managing her emotions for her is unhealthy and isn’t progress), it’s to pull her out of the situation to have her calm down and think through her own emotions. And cuddles <3

She lets Russia get violent if she agrees with the reason or deems it “Russia’s business.” I think they’d still get “control your dog” comments:
