They have their talented voice actors and not much screentime, but they're designed so well!

Sorry for the suspense, I just realized how long the coloring took and after, like, five alternative scenarios and prototype pages, I decided to make the pages colorless, because I've seen many people also do it, and it saves a lot of time. Instead, I'll only color the covers.

See? Before and after. This was NOT on digital btw you have no idea how proud I am of this. The colors look warm, the shading looks better than I expected, and it looks like a masterpiece!

So the name I decided to call it "Father Figure" because the story will mainly focus on fatherly bonds of the cast (Zorori, Gaon and some others included)

The good news is that the competition is over and I started illustrating. Bad news is that this household doesn't let me breathe, I swear to God, chores every day... Anyway, won't bore y'all with details, just to keep u updated, I am doing my best to make this look as similar to the show as possible, the details, the way characters interact, not perfect, but I hope to represent it well.

So, in the previous episode, Zorori, Ishishi, Noshishi and Najou were leaded to a very scary house where Deary-chan got her voice swapped with an estate agent, the same happens to the trio, including Roger, which turns out to be a very funny scene of Ishishi and Zorori, Noshishi and Roger having their voices swapped, bet the cast had a good time doing this, it's genuinely so funny. Zorori makes a device to switch his and Ishishi's voices back, but of course, he makes the excuse of the machine being broken and doesn't fix Noshishi and Roger (Poor Noshishi, bro, he always has ti go through shit), and in the next episode, the Yokai joins the adventure, and we get to see Roger actually giggle at a very silly dad joke (He ain't that rough as he acts, that sly little... lion? Puma? Dog? What is his specie again? Nvm) Even Nelly is shocked by that, Roger probably never laughed before, at least not in front of her (Also Roger sounds so fuckin cute with Noshishi's voice)

So I was going around the net, and saw some humanoid drawings of Zorori characters and my stupid ass decided I had to draw Gaon and Beat on the intro, I know, the shading kinda sucks, but I tried my best

Her weapon is not an axe anymore. She uses a bow and arrows, and she is the backup of the turtles.

While her brothers take care of the crime by fighting, she is the unexpected one that makes her move without being spotted.

I thought this role would fit her better

And I changed some specific tropes I gave her

My tough babies, they're so confident, I love how strong-willed these two are, they're always thinking of themselves as the one who should be the responsible one, though, Gaon grows out of it eventually, because he's tired of the title but he still is willing to help anyone who's in need, my point is he wants to be more than the "highness" title he has in the family. Beat, however, finds happiness by helping others instead of jokes. I have a theory that his parents died in a tragic accident that he was included in, and he was traumatized since then, Nick tried to help him keep his mind busy, so he wouldn't feel less of a someone, even though deep down he knows his grandson is still hurting. That maybe why Beat lived alone after Nick disappeared, he didn't feel emotionally ready, it's not just embarrassment, it's his mind tricking him into thinking the ones he cares about always disappear before his own eyes. And he is too afraid to hurt anyone, but himself on the silence. Not only that, he fears he'd be embarrassed, but he's afraid he'll end up alone again when he tries to love someone.

For Gaon's side of the story, his father probably had died, either he's overseas. That affected the young prince more than everyone had thought. He cried a lot of times for his mother in the past, but more he grew, more silent he became. Princes his age would throw tantrums over toys they couldn't get, or just for their parent's attention, Gaon would watch them, as if he thinks crying is meaningless. Because no one truly cares about it. He never had an exact male model to look up for, which made him more emotionally vulnerable with the people he liked, that is where platonic GaoZoro starts. Gaon doesn't only see a partner or a rival. He sees someone he can finally trust without his royal statue, until Zorori found his secret out, he thought that ruined their bond, but it made it even stronger. Gaon was always happy to see Zorori because he was the one who didn't judge him as much, acts like an equal and fun to argue with.

I feel so dumb, I don't know what the hell is happening to me these days, so I took my favorite pen and eraser to draw, then I checked my pencil case again, and I literally forgot I took them out, I search for a couple of minutes, then gave up, thought I forgot them somewhere, just as I was about to move to a new pen and eraser, I noticed them on the side of my sketchbook. And I felt pathetic. Like a fool. Like I was nothing but an idiot that tries to tell herself that everything is fine, she's human, and she can forget things. Yet this started happening so fucking frequently that I sometimes question myself if I can even remember anything anymore.
