“You are literally messing with the supernatural. This is no joking matter, do not question their motives or what they may or may not do.” It was getting harder and harder for the brunette to keep her face straight. 

“It was literally the most terrifying experience for me as an eight year old. Did you always love frogs or did something attract you to them? Oh, I know the one you’re talking about! They got super up close to the butterfly and it was all nasty and buggy. — Good! I think he really likes you.”

“You know, I think I read somewhere that the only way to get over your fear is to face ‘em head on. But, personally, I doubt I’ll be going into a butterfly exhibit anytime soon--- Actually, frogs weren’t exactly my first choice for a family pet; but when your siblings are deathly allergic to all things furry you learn to compromise.” Ash bent down, kneeling so she leveled with the canine. It was right before she was going to pet Oxford that she reconsider her actions. She didn’t want to appear rude, though sometimes it was far too easy for the brunette to have that particular light shined on her. Looking up at the red head for approval, Ash kept her ‘petting’ hand to her side, “May I?”

“Oatmeal, raisins, and soy milk? That combination sounds disgusting, so no. I’m happy with my ‘invalid’ negativity.”

“Suit yourself, but you won’t make it far with that judgmental attitude.” Oh the irony of how Ash Cordell was lecturing someone about being prejudice. The world had come to some sort of end considering this particular event was taking place. “Anyways,” the brunette attempted to move away from the engaged cookie debate, “was there something you needed?”
