“i-i just prefer going out and doing something”

“I guess I can see where you’re coming from.”

“they take up too much time. i would much rather be going to   out.”

“going to where?”

“i’m sure one of my best friends likes them fine. i just…well i;m really not a movie person.”

“why not?”

“it’s not by choice, to be perfectly honest it’s only due to lack of time. i’ve seen the classics when i’m with my family and the ones in theaters are simply due to my friends dragging me out to see them. i have nothing against independent films.”

"maybe you should get some new friends then... ones that like indie films.”

“no, probably not. i mean unless it’s a classic, or in theaters i probably haven’t seen it.”

"no offense, but that’s a pretty sucky way to live. there are so many great independent films out there that you miss when you’re only looking at things in those two categories.”

“right. movies? you make movies, like as an actress?”

“no, i prefer to be behind the camera. i’ve made a few movies... none you’ve ever heard of though.”

“good point. if you’re not a dancer, and you don’t have any specific hobbies, what do you do?”

"i didn’t say i didn’t have any specific hobbies. i just said i don’t have anything that’s stuck. but i like movies... watching them and making them, really.”

“a lot of work. i dance more than i do anything else.” 

“well, that’s expected. i don’t think i’ve ever met a dancer who wasn’t invested in it.”

I can’t think of anything I’d rather have more than somebody loving me.

“I like you. A lot. Like I wanna be your boyfriend and I know you probably don’t want that but…I’m crazy about you. Since the second I saw you.”

"Well, you’re in luck, because you may just be the best guy I’ve ever met and I want to be your girlfriend.”
