Here’s my theory:

we thought we were getting a continuation of the love triangle with a Betty mv, but instead were getting a mv to a new song, willow. What if it’s still a continuation of the love triangle, but James and Betty’s wedding instead of James’s apology video. Idk. I’m bad at theories, just a thought. What do you think?

I loved learning about @taylorswift’s songwriting process for folklore between the Rolling Stone magazine and “folklore: The Long Pond Studio Session” film.

The very first @taylorswift album I owned! This album holds a very special place in my heart💛 this album reminds me of so many happy memories. This album came out at the most perfect time for me and it’s one I grew up with. It taught me love, how to deal with hurt, and how to live in spite of having fears.

This album is truly amazing and everything about the era is perfect! Taylor’s comeback single and music video are iconic. I adore Taylor’s poetry in the rep magazines. The song writing is genius. Taylor found the king of her heart. The tour was epic (unfortunately I didn’t make it to a show.) This era was also the beginning of a happier and healthier Taylor, which makes me happy🖤

I honestly can’t say I’m more excited for her to re-record one album over another. I can’t wait to hear them ALL for different reasons!

Before I get into the reasons: IMAGINE EACH RE-RECORDING HAVING A B-SIDE CD WITH UNRELEASED SONGS from each era!!!!!

Taylor Swift: TDOMG was the first Taylor song I heard and I am super excited to hear it 14+ years after the first release. Just imagining the entire debut with her mature vocals.

Fearless: the first Taylor album I owned and what really got me into her music. This album holds a special place in my heart.

Speak Now: another album that was super important to my childhood. It’s so magical and I’m super excited to hear this re-recorded bc she wrote each song in her own. She deserves to own this album the most.

RED: one of my favorite albums of all time. This is the one I always come back to and I can’t wait for her to re-record. I feel like this is another important one for her to own (all of them are ofc) bc it’s her heartbreak that’s shown throughout the majority of the album.

1989: her first pop album that broke so many records! A must own for her. Can’t wait to hear her new version (imagine her adding the title track to a deluxe version!)

Anyways, It’s finally here! My recreation of Look What You Made Me Do!🐍 I am so happy with how this turned out. I’ve given it some thought and I may end up finishing the entire video over winter break (at first I just wanted to film up to the karma part).

Facts:

•I dug my own grave and made my grave stone⚰️

•my cousins car that was crashed is used in the car crash scene🚗

• my moms bf put up a swing for me specifically for this video🌳

•the bathtub scene was killer (felt like 100 degrees up in my grandma and grandpas bathroom-their house had no central air)🛀🏻

•I filmed most on my own with a little help from my wonderful mother📹💖

This album means the absolute world to me. This is the album that pulled me out of my dark phase and I will forever be grateful for that. I adore the aesthetic of the RED era. The style and music is everything! This album has the perfect mix of sad and happy songs. You can’t go wrong with this album (or any Taylor album really.) This is an album I find myself going back to time and time again.

Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with us @taylorswift I will never tear it up (All Too Well reference). This album has been there for me through thick and thin. I’m grateful that you are willing to share your life with us and give us songs that we can relate to.
