Hey girls! How have you been? You see this photo here? We’re doing a major attic renovation. Yeah. Pretty wrong timing if you’ll ask me. My dad recently found out that our attic’s insulation is already damaged. So instead of buying the home insulation products ourselves and installing them on our own, we hired a contractor to do the job. Anyway, according to our contractor, there are several products that can be used to insulate a home. These include foil, natural wool, cellulose, polyester, glasswool and fiberglass. Sounds pretty overwhelming to me! LOL

The contractor was also kind enough to share home insulation tips with us. We found out that there’s a prescribed minimum insulation level for the roof and wall, depending on the area where we are located. Interesting, right? Apparently, since the climate varies across states or locations, the insulation level also varies.
