A belated congratulations to @erin__goose , winner of the @yolohayoga mat giveaway! 💜🌈🦄🎉🥳🎊 I met Erin back in 2018 at one of my #goatyogaME classes at @smilinghill farm. 🐐🧘‍♀️ Fast forward to the beginning of 2020, not the most exciting or uplifting point in our collective history, and erin remembered the positive and silly vibe that we lean into in goat yoga. She decided maybe life would feel a little less dreary with the addition of some online yoga and now, over 100 online classes later, I am so grateful to call Erin a student and a friend! 💜 Erin regularly comes to my Monday night class at 530pm and the thing i love most about having her in class is how often she takes the invitation to adjust the postures to really fit what works with her body! 🙏🏼 Paradoxically perhaps, it always really makes my heart sing when I see students doing something a little different (or a lot different) than what I suggest. It's a really easy way for me to see that folks are listening to their own bodies and we aren't just playing a game of Simon says🤣🤣 To erin and to all the folks that come to class, thanks for your dedication to your practice. Believe me when I say it means the world to me to see your faces every week. Did you do anything to celebrate the fall equinox today? 🥳 I celebrated with some Karma Yoga! 💜 @friendsofcascobay provided the supplies and I enjoyed the beautiful day while marking storm drains in my neighborhood. 🌊 Did you know that the storm drains head right to Casco Bay! So if trash, dog 💩, and other detritus end up in the storm drain, its gonna end up in the bay. So excited for Poses with Ponies! This has been in the works for nearly a year and I am just thrilled that we can finally invite you out to the farm to enjoy yoga in the fields and some QT with the horses! First public class is this Saturday!
