Fuck the instantaneous overconsumption and fetisization of these graphic and triggering videos of black suffering and death. Fuck having the privilege to not have to care about what’s going on right now ,what has been going on , what isn’t getting better. Fuck people who consider themselves liberal and love theorizing about oppression until this happens in real time and they keep their distance, balking at the thought of actually empathizing with and listening to black people. All of this is devastating, dehumanizing. There’s never enough time to mourn, there are so many people who’s physical and mental health is at stake every single time this happens keeps happening.
