I’m great! Have you done anything exciting since school let out for summer?

Um, I got m-myself a record player, if that counts as e-exciting.

“Thanks, but you really didn’t have to. I’ll be off in a couple of minutes, anyway. I’ve got at least two more blocks after this.”

“Oh, okay. Well.. uh, good l-luck, I-I think, and stay hydrated.”

“Hey, don’t make such a big deal out of it. I just wanted to take a break from my jog. It’s cool, I can stand.”

“Oh, no, I-I’m -- that’d be rude o-of me, here, um,” Asher quickly moved over so there was more than plenty of room for her to sit.

Nah, it’s fine. Don’t move. There’s like, a million other seating options for me.

“Fine, no bag then. Anything else you want?”
