Today @thebrunchzone did some work at @cricketcreekfarm and we learned that yes, he will work for cheese. But honestly...who wouldn't. Can't wait to dig into his pay! 😂

Looking through my feed I was inspired by a post made by @superlee7. I could really go for a nice slice and a warm beverage. Adding baking a pie to my to-do list.

Last weekend was Vermont Maple Weekend! I learned so much about how it’s made and ate many treats. It was probably the sweetest I’ve ever been.

I would love to hear about how you balance comics with a full-time job and other responsibilities. It’s something I’m still navigating, but it’s getting better. 

I needed to make an appointment today and almost panicked. Luckily, I was able to get one sooner...but GEEZ! AUGUST?!

I found this recipe back a few weeks ago and had wanted to try it. Super easy. Can't wait until a week from now so I can finally try it. Hope it works!

Journal comics. 2-16-2016. Today, I am turning in early. Life threw some curve balls today and I think the best way to respond would be with some self love. Goodnight internet world. I need to catch up on some zees.

Journal Comic. 2-15-2016. I know...not a comic. I did this drawing on the road this morning to NYC. We were bringing our friend home and I had every intention of drawing when we got back. We left at 6 pm and did not make it back until 11:15 pm due to snow, freezing rain, hills and unplowed roads. @thebrunchzone was a great winter weather driver. Even though I was still freaking out, he ultimately made me feel safer. The scariest part was when we came up over a hill and saw the reflection of what we thought were lights or reflectors. In fact, it was three deer. Luckily they didn't choose that moment to run in front of the car! Kiff is screaming at me now, so off to bed. Until tomorrow!

I wanted to do something different today to work out to...and then I fell down the rabbit hole. There are so many great fitness videos on YouTube! Man! Now I need to perfect my hot dance moves. 😂

This morning I caught Kiff rummaging through the trash. She managed to find a rice cracker and thought she could get away with sneaking it. After I stopped her, I opened the door to the basement to temporarily put the trash bag in the stairwell. The minute I did that, she ran past me to go hide in the basement. With all my winter gear already on, I had to make my way down to scoop her up and bring her back into the house. Ugh...the worst. She is getting antsy being cooped up all day. Unfortunately, she won't be out anytime soon. At least born until it gets warmer and we fix the fence

At some point between yesterday and today we lost our bananas. No...that's not a euphemism. Most likely, we left them at the store. Or, maybe something completely different happened?
