Where I lived two years ago I went full bedfort with my queen mattress. At the moment I am at partial bedfort. Bedframe on stilts, with or without blanket walls, blanket ceiling. Right now the bedframe is up and the bed as a whole is in a tiny L-shaped room where like a third of the bed is in part of the room that happens to be exactly the width of the bed. And yeah, that's why I loved bunk beds. Shared a bedroom with my brother for a bit when I was young, and then when we got separate bedrooms I got to keep pieces of the bunk bed setup and used them to construct varying forms of bedfort or eyrie.

It's confusing that asexuals are normal. There's a model where sexuality is integrated into our psychology in some holistic or fundamental way and a model where it's basically a discrete module which can be slotted in or out, not loadbearing. And I guess the unremarkable psychology of asexuals implies the latter?

This sounds like a shitpost but people should be allowed to be horny. As in, sexuality is just part of life for most people and there’s no reason for consensual sexual behavior to be punished. A celebrity getting “caught” at a sex club shouldn’t be a scandal. No one should be fired for having a fetlife profile outside of work. Nudes getting leaked shouldn’t be career-ending. Denying and hiding (consensual) sexual interests doesn’t make anyone more professional, it just makes everyone more repressed. And sterilizing ourselves to be better work drones isn’t productive, it’s just creepy. I’d rather my surgeon get absolutely railed on camera and come to work in a good mood, frankly.
