It's hard for me to give Void Stranger a fair shake because the first route felt like a 200-level tutorial to me and basically ruined my engagement with the meta shit because I found the actual moment-to-moment gameplay so tedious, but also I 100% understand why they didn't open with the second route's puzzles.

Sometimes I need to remind myself that my perspective on what constitutes a reasonable difficulty for a introductory-level block pushing puzzle has been dangerously skewed by my childhood obsession with The Adventures of Lolo.
