"Under surveillance, I dunno. Back when I was a walking puffball with nerd glasses, I guess. WhichâŚ.wasnât long ago actually." he shrugged, laughing as he ran a hand through his newly shortened hair.
â- âNerd glasses, huh?â Spencer smiled to herself, thinking to the reading glasses she had tucked inside her bag hanging against her hip. âYou donât strike me as a puffball and nerd glasses kind of person. I find it a little hard to believe.âÂ
Seeing him now, at least. He didnât look as he was describing himself in the now, insinuating that SHIELD had their crooked noses in his files long before they likely had any reason to. Knowledge like that didnât seem to surprise her anymore though, not since she had begun associating herself.
"Not too long ago I was riding my bike through the rain as far as Harlem to deliver pizzas though, so I guess I shouldnât doubt you. Course now Iâm just delivering to Stark Tower when Iâm not there interning." She joked, averting her eyes elsewhere as she inhaled deeply.
"Yeah, yeah nerd glasses and puffball. Life's a whole new world when you get contacts. You look less like a hipster." he commented, laughing. "The puffball on the other hand, is a distant memory now, though I gotta admit I miss it." he added with a shrug, nodding.Â
