As of right now, bonesiii is no longer staff and has had more than half of his proto taken away. He has still been given the privilege of a Retired Staff title, which is more than can be said for certain other staff members who were demoted for much lesser offenses.

I’m honestly shocked he wasn’t stripped of his title completely or flat-out banned from the site. And draining proto? Really? How is that considered a legitimate punishment in this situation? “Oh, you harassed this person, as punishment we’re going to change this jpg image under your name to a slightly different jpg image, don’t do it again.”

Hopefully this is just temporary until they figure out what the hell is going on.

If anything is worth pulling this blog out of retirement one last time, it’s this. What the hell is even going on here?

Considering that Bones is almost certainly a middle-aged man, my theory is that his marriage has just fallen apart or something and this is his way of dealing with it. (You know, Bones, some people just move in with their mothers and play video games.) It’s really the only sensible explication, because otherwise we have to assume that he’s either been hacked or that he’s completely lost it.

Obviously, Fishers didn’t take being subjected to this very well, and replied to Bones in a predictable manner.

And then, she decided to comment on the matter in a manner that was much less predictable, and which makes the whole affair look even more bizarre.

I don’t know what the hell to say about her, either. “He really needs to love someone else, and he’s projecting it onto me”? “MY TRUE LOVER COULDN’T SAY THIS. HE TURNED THE FORUM INSIDE OUT JUST FOR ME”? What is going on here? This goes far beyond the distress one would expect. I’m not going to speculate any further than that.

Bones is going to be banned now, I can’t see B6 reacting any other way to this sort of blatant harassment. I always had a feeling that he’d implode one day, but I thought it’d be over his homophobia or abuse of mod powers - not something like this. And as for Fishers - our hearts genuinely go out to her, wherever she is and whatever she’s going through.
