So, I’m a very visual person, and drawing hands are still something I struggle with (despite some of my past posts of me figuring out some ways to help out). I haven’t really drawn people in a while and getting back to hands have me frustrated all over. I tried all my tips and I still feel stuck. Thankfully, I remembered that I am also very hands on (no pun intended) when it comes to figuring things out. That’s why I want to share this with you guys. A while back, I was bored and sculpted a hand with sculpy so I could have a physical, posable hand. It kinda got destroyed, but the palm remained. I figured out that I can use this as a way to break down my simple shapes. Then, I use a finger shaped piece to block out each finger. I think it’s helpful because finding the simple shapes are hard for me (even though I know how to do it) and this helps me actually see them for myself.
