Design notes:

Dashi stays a dachshund but gave her pink undertones to her brown fur and she's all pretty in pink <3

Tweak is a marsh rabbit (they use to be found natively in the Everglades however the introduction of the invasive Burmese python has dwindled their numbers and I think that would play in nicely as Tweak's father is a park ranger for the Everglades, they are also excellent swimmers compared to other close relatives), the green to her fur acts as algae/moss to camouflage her

They have the other's main color as their eye color because I love that couple trope

Nothing much to explain for Barnacles, he's a polar bear

Kwazi is a 'Caliby' a cat with the fur patterns of a calico and a tabby

Peso is a Magellanic penguin, a species native to Chile and Argentina, as a homage to the US dub giving him a Spanish accent
