My favorite thing about the majority of the SDRA fandom is that instead of pulling the classic âGRRR! A WOMAN IS RUINING MY YAOI đĄđĄ I HATE HER AND SHES THE LITERAL DEVILđĄđĄâ misogyny on Ophelia, almost everyone immediately just decided that:
1. Pyke fumbled a baddie
2. Pyke has 2 hands
3. Pyke is the GREEDIEST man alive.
And justâŚplopped Ophelia into Pykerett to make a polycule. Which was kinda surprising to me. In other fandoms Iâve been a part of, the main female love interest is usually treated like garbage by the larger community, especially if she âruined the queer shipâ. So to see her widely appreciated, Itâs a bit of fresh air.
