Nicole could have easily done this suggestion, knowing that Sally was not at all serious about the butter ban. Yet at the same time...msiery is only funny when a friend is around, so Nicole just smiled at her friend and began to grab the Vegemite.

She laughed a little and swished her long tail finding a good place for it to rest out of the way “ Oh it hurt like you wouldn’t believe! apparently yanking out sharpnel with your hand is a big no no, doc yelled at me for a solid 15 minutes! “ She just grinned like she was happy about that fact! “ but couldn’t really leave it in there, and i had bots to fight… so pulled it out, and slapped on a makeshift bandage and kept fighting! “ She flashed a big grin!

“ dun worry its fine now! and scars are just stories our bodies tell! i like to think of it like a tattoo with meaning! “ 

The lynx could only smile at hearing the lemur speak, enjoying the reckless explanation given. There were so many variables that would have gone wrong, and yet the other chose to do such a thing anyway? Organics would never stop making her curious, they did things that go against all forms of logic. At times Nicole had the eyes glance at the tail, such a long thing...even for a standard mobian. Many stronger thoughts and curiosities overridden the need for a hair sample.

“I did not want to say anything about it, since you asked I do have to say it does show a little bit. Hopefully getting it out was not too painful, I hear that shrapnel is a bane for one’s internals.” There was just a matter of fact tone with her words, sounding curious on how such a piece a metal was extracted as the scar did seem a bit nasty.

Well now there was a certain lynx he’d not seen in some time, even if he may not have been close with her, spotting Nicole always did make him become curious about her purely on him now knowing that she was in fact an AI! He’d met cyborgs and machines but Nicole was unique.

You’d never guess it considering how she looked and acted! Or at least to Dan’s perspective you wouldn’t.

Despite this a growing uneasiness would also began to itch at the back of his head, remembering the last time he’d seen her did go on a low note considering his mood at the time….maybe she’d even thought of a means of him returning that ‘favour’ from awhile back.

“Nicole? Hey er, I just wanna apologise if I upset you in some form….being all demanding of answers and what not, sometimes I let my thoughts get the better of me.”

While many would assume that Nicole would not let something go, they would know know the lynx and how forgiving she can be from time to time. Arguments and sour moods happened, but their rarity meant that Nicole would simply find ways to return to her normally positive state. The ears would perk up at hearing the words being said to her, listening with a bit of her checking the tone and how apologetic it sounded.

The friendly stare did not help with removing the unease, as they stare without only signs of blinking. It took a moment or two till the eyes started to blink, the lynx having nearly forgotten how uncanny it must be when speaking to the more organic residents on mobius.

Oh…shit, she was not expecting to be called out like this, not only did it caught her off guard it did get her on the fluster side of thing, The Hedgehog cleared her throat, the pink coloring her cheeks while faint if visible “Ah…Sorry about, I…didn’t think those cameras were…real.” okay that was a while but she had to save face somehow, just imagine what the whole of knothole would say if word got out! 

“You know it would be nice to do my part without getting flustered. Kinda hard to act as the city’s surveillance when you find a way to get me looking away from some cameras.” Nicole spoke to the pink hedgehog with a matter of fact tone, not showing negative or positive tones of any kind. While being an AI, bits of her tended to fall to tenancies most organic. It was hard to understand why Amy was like this to the lynx, but this had slowly grown to be the norm for them both.

You Are A Disturbing Control Freak Caring for people and things does not work the way you think it does. You are so invested in making sure that everything around you is perfect that instead of showing you care, you plan and control without asking for any input (which, of course, you justify by telling yourself that you aren't burdening anyone else with extra work). You show dedication and attention to everything the same way you would a bonsai tree: meticulous maintenance, control, planning, and foresight. You call this “dedication,” but it's not - it's needing personal control so badly that you've confused it for real connection - which is not really a great quality in a friend, but a very helpful quality in an aspiring serial killer.

She leaned over and pulled Nicole down into her lap and wrapped her arms around her, giving her a supportive hug. “ Well i love you the way you are “ She whispered and leaned in pressing her lips to Nicole’s and gently tilted her head to fully embrace her sweet Lynx in a supportive manner. She had missed her, was it strange to be in love with an AI? but she was so alive, and made her feel so loved. 

“ Sorry i didn’t mean to bring up any bad memories… i just— i guess i was curious. I’m happy with you as is… and as long as i’m able i’ll love you with all my being “ 

As the lynx was pulled into Wave’s lap, she could not help but purr while gently getting herself comfy on the current sitting location. The ears folded down in content as Nicole returned the kiss. It was odd to love someone, but being around the rogue made the AI happy every time.
