If you’ve yet to listen to the 100th episode, Dan Friel was our musical guest. Dan’s an amazing dude, super-talented and super-nice, and Thrill Jockey was kind enough to let us debut a new video of his taped live at his record release party at the Knitting Factory on February 19th. While Dan usually plays by himself, this performance involved a big band full of some really great musicians including Patrick Stickles (Titus Andronicus), Greg Fox (Guardian Alien) Bernard Gann (Liturgy/Guardian Alien), BJ Warshaw (Parts & Labor), Shahin Motia (Oneida, Ex-Models), Sarah Register (Talk Normal), Karen Waltuch, and Grasshopper, among others.
