@platinumaspiration mentioned how she’d like it in her game, so i got right on it! i ended up resizing the book clutter just a smidge, in order to fit better on the shelf. there is some clipping going on w the piano. i lowered the keys in milkshape a bit to make it less apparent, but ah well. oh! and i’m actually quite proud of the lamp since it has an unlit/lit state! hooray! anyway, that should be all. as always, please lmk if there’s any issues, enjoy!~  ʕっ˘ڡ˘ςʔ

Sims 4t2 Base Game S.Cargeaux Counter Set

I realy don't know, what to say... Thank you for beeing with me while I blabber about my favorite game!

Edit: Totaly forget to add these informations:

I was want original ts4 counter tops in these counters too. But since ts2 counters have restriction about remaps, I had to made them manuely. So the corners might not fit perfectly with them. I prefer to hide these with deco objects.

Outer corner is at the counter section but it is not a counter. It has 3 deco slots

part one of a suggestion from guppy over on the simscord! the wedding hijab from ts4's gp11: my wedding stories game pack converted to ts2, with 2 addons! there are 3 variants in total: the original ts4 one, one without the veil, and one with neither the veil nor crown ✨

all 12 recolors of each hijab are binned as hairs, with 3 families each. swatch under the cut! they are smooth-boned, animated, etc., with the highest polycount (the og ts4 version) being a cute 4388 polys!

The Aster set by @serenity-cc has caught my eye a long time ago so I have finally gotten around to converting it (while this post was sitting in my drafts, I realized that @platinumaspiration has already converted this bra, so please check out their awesome work here) ♥

I also thought that the comfy undies by @landgraabbed went perfectly with the rest of the set, so you can have them as well! I went ahead and added the Lou socks by @sforzcc cause they're my favorite thing in the world, no joke ✨

The set comes with the gorgeous Celia bra (TF-EF, 9 swatches), Comfy undies (TF-EF, 10 swatches) and Angela pants (TF-EF, 7 swatches) that I have paired with these bunny slippers originally converted to Sims 2 by @veranka-downloads. 🐇

The items are texture based on base game body meshes, from teen to elder, both morphs, the bra and the undies are in the pyjama and undies categories and the pants are bottom only pyjamas. So that means you need the Seapartes4All mod for them to appear and then you can combine them however you like! Everything's compressed, enjoy! ♥

Ever since I saw this tree house I've loved it and wanted to convert it! I didn't really mind it being just decorative but then I got the idea to try and clone it from the SuperTower from GoPlay! (that playground thing children sims can climb onto) and make it kinda functional? 🦊

Well, it kinda is! Your simmies will climb onto it and their fun will go up, but unfortunately due to the way it was built, you won't be able to see much happening inside. Also, since the SuperTower has 4 ladders on 4 different sides and the Tree House has only one, only sometimes will the children climb the actual ladder and not the invisible one. 🐌

Soo, if you don't mind all of these specs and would like to have it in your game for fun and cuteness purposes, here it is! Big thanks to @tvickiesims for extracting the mesh for me. 🦝

It has 8,376 polys and one swatch. It can be found in Hobbies > Recreation. The file's been compressed, enjoy! ♥

Creating a custom 'hood and releasing it for download is not hard and not a big deal at all, but since I was doing it for the very first time, of course it wasn't all smooth sailing- hence the wait. I had to recreate it 3 times lmao, due to not knowing all the facts (silly me) but it was all in good fun honestly and I'm super happy it's finally shareable! 🐸

Sooo, this 'hood is completely clean, no characters and no stealth 'hoods or anything. It was created using the Baskerville terrain which, of course, is included. You can play it using your own defaults, but here are the ones I use that you can see in the preview pics:

The folder with the 'hood (N025) goes to your 'Neighborhoods' folder in the Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (or just The Sims 2)/Neighborhoods 🐛 I debated whether I should include a folder with all the custom neighborhood deco you need, but I figured that probably most of you already have all the CC needed since the buildings and houses I used have been in the community for years! So instead I have made a CC list (under the cut) so you can easily download and/or check if you already have the needed deco. 🦓

There is also a folder with 10 residential lots created just for this 'hood to match its vibe and the aesthetic. With this mod, sims can only take pictures if they have a camera in their inventory. To make this more feasible, the default camera is now buyable under Electronics / Small for §120. (If your sim happens to leave on a vacation without a camera, they can still ask kind locals and tourists to take pictures for them.)

In addition, there are six new functional custom cameras.

For most cameras, you'll need to order the photo with a computer to get a printed version, as is the default behavior.

Instant cameras: With Classic Polaroid and Instax cameras, the photo will be added to your sim's inventory right away. They require the instant photo mesh to work (included with the download). The photos taken with instant cameras can't be ordered with computers.

By default, the instant photo has a clear vignette overlay. You can add a tint to it by clicking the mesh and choosing either blue, green, red, or orange tint from the pie menu. It's also possible to revert it back to being clear.

There are two versions of this mod: the 'cellphone' one makes the cellphone work as a camera and is meant to be used together with my phone default. The cellphone will get picked for taking pictures only if the sim doesn't have another camera in their inventory.

The 'no cellphone' version has all the other functionality but the default cellphone won't work as a camera with it.

🚨🚨 Both mod versions conflict with the custom smartphone camera mod by @jellymeduza. Meduza has shared compatible versions in that same post.

The mods will also show a conflict with the snowproof accessories mod by guirnaldas. Both mods will work if you make the camera overhaul load after the snowproof accessories.

This mod is compatible with camera default replacements that don't include an OBJD override, for example this one by @vegan-kaktus or this one by me works perfectly.

Update (29.1.2024): Taking pictures with instant cameras now fulfills the want to take a picture just as the normal cameras do. Sims using instant cameras also correctly gain art enthusiasm from it.

Update (28.1.2024): Both the default and the custom cameras won't get covered in snow anymore if used outdoors when there's snow on the ground.

It's been a long time since I've wanted to come up with a clothing set for kiddos, the one that is going to match the stuff I convert for adults... And I finally did it!

So, since this set is really simple, some tees + classic jeans, etc, I didn't feel the need to convert these items since some very good examples already existed: so basically it's a re-texture set! 🐛

What you need to keep in mind is that the baseball cap and beanie textures are repositoried to AF so you require those! And that they won't really work with every single hairstyle, but I did my best to adjust them. 🦝

WISTERIA SKIN + PUPA EYES: A COMPLETE SET OF GENETICS

BOI that was an undertaking! but finally, and with lots of assistance from the wonderful @kestrelteens, this skin is completed. and it turned into an entire set of cohesive genetics, too! more info under the cut ⤵

Pretersolaria Institute: CC-Free Uni & Individual Lots

Eventually I want to share the entirety of Rhyolite Valley, but it's a bit hairy with the 47 sims & CC hood deco & the garbage data I let seep in while playing (so I'd have to remake all of that before sharing).

I thought I'd "practice" the process of remaking the hood by starting a little smaller: The uni subhood. Since I only made a handful of sims for it (which are not included... yet) and it works aesthetically without CC hood deco. Sounds simple, right? Weelllll it took about a week of near daily effort to actually do. Makes the prospect of doing the actual hood soooo much more exciting lol /s

Anyway, that's what this is: A new university subhood template that's CLEAN & EMPTY. As a bonus (or if you just don't like the subhood), I've also included individual lot packages for every lot in the subhood to use wherever you want.

The "gimmick" of this hood is that Rhyolite Valley, and by extension Pretersolaria Institute, is entirely self-sufficient & cobbled together by the local residents. Which means there's no indoor plumbing lol.

That also means simply sitting down at a computer to write a term paper isn't as easy as a regular uni. Students have to go to THE BOOKMOBILE to access computers. Same goes for the skill building required for each semester/major. You have to venture out to the relevant community lot to find the means for skill building.

I've included in the uni's photo album & the lot descriptions which skills are available to build on each lot. It'll say "+Cooking" or whatever skill(s) the lot can provide based on the objects it has.

Place the "PRTR" folder in its entirety in the "Program Files > EA GAMES > The Sims 2 University > TSData > Res > NeighborhoodTemplate" directory. Or whatever equivalent location you have for a TS2 University folder in the Program Files section.

Mootilda's Subhood Selection Mod is required to see additional universities below the main 3 pre-made ones.

You can then select Pretersolaria Institute in the list of options when creating a new uni subhood in a neighborhood.

• On 2 lots (Big Heart Dude & Wiploc Amphitheatre), I used the Seasons Music career reward The Rock Hammer for speaker deco. I used MoveObjects to delete the guitar but keep the speakers.

It's possible that either A. The guitars will respawn when you move the lot in the hood, or B. Sims will attempt to play the guitar and complain about being blocked (because I purposely blocked them).

If the guitars respawn, open the lot in Buy/Build mode and with MoveObjects On use the sledgehammer tool to remove the guitar.

If sims are complaining about not being able to reach the guitar, well they're not supposed to be able to lol. If hearing them complain is annoying, you can either use this mod that makes them stop yelling when something blocks them and leaves only the thought bubble, or delete the whole object.

• The Wiploc Amphitheatre may also have some glitchy-looking ground that you can see in neighborhood view when the camera moves. This is because I shortened the lot with Lot Adjuster. I don't know how to make it stop doing that, because I've transferred the lot to other hoods, packaged the lot, Lot Cleaner'd it, Lot Compressor'd it, moved it to the Lots & Houses Bin, etc. and it has never stopped looking like that. So again if that annoys you, remove the lot I guess?

• Please let me know if there are any additional problems.

I've never done this before specifically with a uni subhood, so it's very likely I messed up somewhere.

The nitty gritty details and disclaimers:

This is an entire collection that is interwoven with each other. Hair is repositoried to different ages, genders, defaults, and even hidden toddler hair. It's highly recommended that the collection stay intact and that you have the Ultimate Collection or all EP/SP.

Not all hair works with each sims' faces and not all sims' faces work with each hair. So keep in mind foreheads, cheeks and ears may poke out. Previews are available at LordCrumps.com

The collection includes add ons that may require the defaults and are flagged as "Store Edition" hair. TS4 hairs range from base game to the most recent Stuff Pack (Home Chef Hustle). More hair may be included as add ons in the future.

I wouldn't convert some hair without their outfit counterparts. Please make sure to remove conflicts. The outfits include:

I only ask that you do not reupload these original files (breaking down to packs, gender, etc) as they are intertwined and may not work without their exclusive counterparts. Please do not make these hairs as customs for reupload.

This took about... 8 months to complete. I've (re)converted all of these myself to my current expectations of my conversion content. This was play tested thoroughly over the course of that time.
