A sketchbook entry and part of a collab with my friend Pepper. It was done as a birthday surprise for his gf and my mutual friend Cupcake, who turned 30 this year. This is her poodle fursona, dressed in kind of a pink punk style and holding up her teddy bear, Lucy, to say hi.

Sketchbook entry featuring redesigns of the infamous Chris-Chan creations, Sonichu and Rosechu. I felt like taking cringe and making it cute. Also, before anyone asks why Rosechu is wearing sunflowers, it's because they match with her color scheme and I have a headcanon where she just loves wearing floral prints.

Introducing my "Jack and Sally" OC pairing, Phase and Nova! I feel like the lighting/shading is a bit all over the place, but I still think it turned out okay. I'm thinking that the next time I draw Nova I'll have half her body be burned rather than just her face. I feel like it would create more visual interest to her as a character.

A sketchbook entry based on a "Draw Your OC Like This" challenge on Twitter. It features my OC Sinéad (formerly Zan/Zaniah) sitting on some stone steps having a Subway sandwich for lunch. I'm making it a point to include more interest in the backgrounds of my art, and will be focusing on adding more of a background rather than just having an OC on a blank field with maybe a few accents here and there from here on out.

Sketchbook entry featuring an attempt at redesigning Ken Penders' Lara-Su of The Lara-Su Chronicles. Here, I tried to make her look more like a cross between animal and alien. I really don't like the uncanny valley design choices Penders has made in trying to make his characters from Archie original, and to me, some of the choices just don't make sense. I was a little limited marker-wise when it came to colors, but I like the some of the effect I was able to achieve with what I had. I do feel like I should've made her hair more pink-ish than red, though.

Another "Draw Your OC in This" challenge prompt done with my buff babe Malice. I thought she'd look super cute in this outfit, and pink is totally her color. Also, this is my first time experimenting with washi tape! I hope to do more soon.

My sister's OC wearing this cute romper design I found on Twitter. This sketchbook entry was inspired by conversation we had wherein she said she was a strawberry mermaid and I just had to draw this!

This also marks the start of 2024's sketchbook summer. I'm feeling a little burnt out art-wise when it comes to digital art so I'm taking some time to go back to my traditional roots until I feel ready to take up digital again.
