Born on this day, Paula Modersohn-Becker was a German painter and one of the most important representatives of early expressionism. When the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) appointed world-renowned conductor Sir Simon Rattle, it asked The Partners to evolve its brand to celebrate both Sir Simon and the emotional power of music, and to help it engage with a broader audience.
