Can you get out of bed?

Can you get out of your head?

Can you speak to me?

Can you speak freely?

The silence if deafening

Your thoughts are winning

The walls are spinning

I'm scared to speak aloud

I'm scared to be apart of a crowd

I talk to myself instead

And I stay in bed

My skin is marred

I stay on guard

It's not to hard

I think I'll just have to wait

For what I can't anticipate

Nights where sleep eludes me

My mind holds me in captivity

Keeping me much to awake

The silence I can't fake

The words are to loud

Thoughts are beggining to crowd

Reiterated in my head

I'll sleep when I'm dead

Ever so tired

Mentally wired

I can't stop thinking

About everything

So I lie sleepless

Awake, dreamless

I'll hold on for another night
