Speedy, Not Robin.

I’ll be keeping this blog for rainy days, but my primary focus is going to be on my new group (still Teen Titans, but it’s a closed group meaning that roleplaying stays within the group).

Whatever. Two could play at that game. It didn’t matter how Garth had been brought up, he would not be treated this way. “I don’t think the King and Queen will be very happy when they find out that you’ve eaten their son. They’d probably execute you,” he said in a very matter-of-fact sort of way.

"Maybe we can..." What was it that stuffy rich white people did? ".... have tea sometime at your palace," Roy said as bent down to pick up a long stick. He then handed it to Garth. "I have some twine and a hook," Little Arrow told him as he reached into a pocket on his trousers. "Tie this all together and use those berries as bait. You should be able to get some fish that way," he instructed, the malicious tone erased from his voice."You do that and I'll see if I can just use an arrow to spear fish." His 'kindness' was going to win him a King's ransom, he was sure of it.

"We’d have better luck trying to stab fish in the ocean. Any thoughts?"

Roy was silent as he clumsily caught the fruit. He was worried about Lian as well, but he had a strong feeling that she was okay. She was a smart little girl. Besides, there were people scouting the island and if Lian was there, they would find her. There was also something else that he couldn't quite remember that made him think she was safe... But he couldn't figure it out as his recent memories still weren't in tact.  "Actually, there was a brook... It was far back in the woods, but I heard one before we all met up. Fresh water, drinkable stuff," he informed the group. "We could try to fish first if you guys want, though." Speedy would have suggested hunting if he had his bow and quiver, but he was without. Perhaps he could make a makeshift bow later.

In the previous issue, Chandra, LIan’s babysitter took the child with her to her own place, causing the team to panic and go search for her. Jesse, being a speedster, found her there. Now Roy leaves this picture of Lian at a cafe table forJade to pick up.

Lian Harper was the most adorable thing DC had ever created. I can only hope that they won’t screw it up this time.

"Uh, no," he responded, after they’d stopped, rubbing the area of his arm that had just been squashed by the other. It wasn’t as if he was let out of the palace enough to learn how to. Speaking of the palace, who did this kid think he was, manhandling the Prince? "Do you even know who I am?” Garth asked. Oops, that came off a little arrogant, but at this point he didn’t really care.

"Hmmph, maybe I'll save myself the trouble and just eat you for dinner!" he growled.
