Everything wasn’t going your way today as another sigh leaves your lips, walking with your focus on your phone as you argue with your mom about something. It wasn’t safe. You knew that. But your fingers continue to type on your phone as she sends another long message, trying your best to explain and reply, rolling your eyes while taking another step, unaware of your surroundings and the speeding vehicle noises; too preoccupied to give your mom a piece of your mind when—
“Hey! Look out–”
You were pulled to the side in a quick manner, colliding bodies with the person who had pulled you. It happened so fast, you almost let go of your phone as your heart started beating fast, eyes closed tight. Strong arms wrap around your small figure as you lift your head from the stranger’s chest and take a look at your surroundings.
A pedestrian…? Realization hits you when a speeding car passes and your eyes go big. Shit.
You heard the stranger sigh, “Miss, you shouldn’t be walking while texting, you could’ve been–”
Looking up– this wasn’t supposed to be a time for such thoughts but; you couldn’t help but gulp and gawk at the stranger holding you. You couldn’t hear what he was saying anymore as your brain blocked all the noise and all you could focus on was his face, looking stressed and worried. How can someone be this fucking attractive?!
He sighs again and moves his arms, making you snap out of your daydream as he helps you on your feet. You suddenly felt a little exposed when he removed his arms around you, making you shiver a bit from the sudden wind from the vehicles passing by.
“Are you alright though? Sorry for pulling you too hard, the car was going too fast and I panicked.”
Good looking and sweet?! Is he some angel or what?!
Clearing your throat as you start dusting your dress. “I-it’s fine. I should be the one saying sorry for texting instead of looking at where I was going. Thank you for being alert and saving me.”
Another sigh leaves your lips as you finally look up and meet his eyes.

Hyunjin patiently waits for the red light to turn green so he can safely walk to the other side. Looking at his watch, he huffs. “This is the last time I’m coming to work on my day off. I should still be sleeping right now..”
Then he hears someone loudly sigh from behind making him turn. He sees you walking with your eyes strained to your phone, he’s about to turn back when he notices you walking straight ahead.
“Miss-” He tries to call you out when you pass by him, panic taking over as he sees the cars driving by so fast and you were still glued to your phone so before you could take another step, Hyunjin was quick to reach out to you;
“Hey! Look out–” pulling you hard against him. His heart was beating frantically.
Releasing a breath, Hyunjin felt annoyed at you. Going to work on his supposed day off was already dreadful enough; you not being careful was just adding to his already miserable day.
“Miss, you shouldn’t be walking while texting, you could’ve been in a really big accident. You’re as bad as those stupid people who drive while drunk..”
He didn’t want to be the one scolding since he does the same thing too but everything was happening so fast and overwhelming; if he wasn’t quick enough, he would’ve been witnessing an accident right in front of his eyes. He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath. Another sigh, he starts releasing you from his hold and helps you stand up.
“Are you alright though? Sorry for pulling you so hard, the car was going too fast and I panicked.”
Great, he still feels bad for you..
He watches you with an arch eyebrow; your head still hangs low, dusting your clothes as you clear your throat. “I-it’s fine. I should be the one saying sorry for texting instead of looking at where I was going. Thank you for being alert and saving me..”
Then he finally meets your eyes; Holy Fuck, she’s cute– Hyunjin felt his eyes widen and his face warm up when he saw your face; your lips in small pout and he could see the guilt in your round eyes behind your glasses. Your bangs were slightly ruined but you still looked… very pretty.
He sees you bite your lip in a nervous state and he couldn’t help but gulp, feeling equally nervous all of a sudden. A quiet minute passes, with you two just staring at each other, taking each other's features into mind when suddenly a loud honk was heard.
“N-no problem..” Hyunjin clears his throat, the first one to look away as he feels his face heat up again. The light turns green.
“Just be careful next time, okay? I uh, I gotta go.”
•••••
You watch him cross the road to the other side, your heart still in a rush as you keep your eyes on his back, his figure slowly getting smaller as he walks further and further… taking your heart with him. Once he takes a turn, you finally let out a sigh and turn your head to the front. Looking around, you sigh again- in relief this time, as you recall the early incident, feeling grateful that you were saved. But you couldn’t help but feel a little sad as well…
“I didn’t even get his name. Damn.” You pout then click your tongue in disappointment before going to where you were supposed to be heading.
It's been weeks since you met your handsome savior; his striking features embedded in your mind like a sweet vivid memory from your childhood– yet it seems like he’ll be another short yet sweet memory to reminisce on. Already hopeless at this point; you decided to just drop him and move on.
“Come right on me, I mean camaraderie
Said you're not in my time zone, but you wanna be..”
You sing along to the song playing through the speaker in your room, as you sit in front of your vanity. A mild breeze from outside enters through your window, turning up the warm temperature in your room. Suddenly your music was cut off as you were doing your eyebrows, making you turn and look at your phone; someone was calling…
Making your way to it, you quickly picked it up without reading the caller ID.
“Hello?”
“Noona? Are you getting ready?”
You hum in response, “Sorta, I’m doing my makeup right now. Why’d you call?”
“Well, Changbin hyung called me to fetch him on our way to the opening. Is that alright with you?”
“It’s your car, Innie. I’m only riding along as well. Why are you asking me?”
Shuffling was heard from the other line; “Just wanted to ask since you’re coming along.” You couldn’t help a smile forming, “Besides, I know how you get with new people, I just wanted to make sure you’re fine with it.”
“I’ve seen and met Changbin before, I’m more than fine to ride with him, Innie.” You tell him, “Plus he’s cute.”
“Ew, noona. TMI.”
You let out a soft laugh. “What? He is, Innie! Stop bullying your friends.”
“It’s not bullying if I’m just telling the truth.” You could sense him roll his eyes.
“You just couldn’t find your knight in shining armor, that’s why you happen to find Changbin hyung cute.”
You scoff. “Are you calling me desperate, Yang Jeongin?!”
“Your words, not mine.” Jeongin giggles, making you roll your eyes. You adore Jeongin, as the youngest in the family, you like having him around like your own younger brother– that is, when he doesn’t act like a spoiled brat.
“Yah, y’know I can call up a taxi and get there on my own right?”
Jeongin laughs from the other line; “I was just kidding, noona. Forgive me~”
“and if I don't?”
“Then you can just call a taxi.” You were sure Jeongin was smirking, making you gasp in reply.
He laughs. “I’m just kidding, noona. I’ll bring you your Iced Coffee when I get there.”
“You better, Yang Jeongin.” You playfully threaten the young boy. “Or I won’t help you with your paperwork for Mrs. Choi anymore. Oh! We still need to buy Felix the flowers for the opening!”
“I think there’s a flower shop on the way to Changbin hyung’s place. I’ll ask him.”
You smile, “Okay, I’ll see you in a bit then!”

“Dude?! Where are you?! Please tell me you’re on your way..”
Seungmin’s voice echoed through the phone speakers, voice covered in exasperation. Hyunjin bites his lips, he gathers his things and makes his way quickly to the elevators.
“I’m still at the office! but on the elevator going down. Please don’t be mad–”
“Aigoo.” Seungmin sighs, “You better get here! You already missed the opening in the morning. I’m telling you, Hyunjin, Felix was already bummed earlier when he heard you couldn’t come and if you miss this–”
“I won’t! I promise! I still have..” Hyunjin looks at his watch as he finally gets on the elevator. “.. 45 minutes to get there! I still have time, Min. I’m coming, I promise.”
Seungmin sighs on his end, “You better hurry up, Hyunjin. The surprise party for Felix starts at 8. You and Han are the only– scratch that, Han’s here.”
Hyunjin bites his lip as he watches the number get lower and lower as the elevator moves down yet still in such a slow manner.
“I’m coming, Min. I’ll be there before Felix does.” Hyunjin confirms as the elevator dings, opening its doors to the parking lot.
“You better be or Felix would hate you for missing this entire day.”
The call ends and Hyunjin doesn’t waste any more of his time, throwing his things in the back as he enters the driver’s seat. Buckling his seatbelt and starting the engine, he sped off. He takes a quick look at his watch. 40 minutes left.. He nods to himself, confident that he’s gonna make it before Felix does and save his own ass from Seungmin and the guys’ scolding.
.. If he even gets there on time.
Hyunjin groans as he hits the steering wheel in frustration. He’s currently stuck in traffic and everything was just getting on his nerves. He wanted to call someone but that’d expose him and he didn't want Seungmin to know his current situation cause he sure as hell will get mad at him for staying late at work– Hyunjin didn’t have much choice but to stay a little later than his usual time off. His co-worker left him some papers to finish since his co-worker couldn't as he needs to leave for an emergency; Hyunjin could’ve left it on his desk for tomorrow but he thought he could finish it quickly but unfortunately, he was wrong… so this is his consequence now.
“Fuck, please, turn green already.”
He prays, staring at the stoplight, hands gripping the wheel as his mind takes him back to a certain memory from not so long ago– the light turned green.
Once the car in front of him moved, he didn’t waste any time and passed them in full speed but still obeying the speed limit; he’s already 10 minutes late, getting stopped by the police would be a nightmare.
Hyunjin quickly finds a parking space near the place and speed walks his way to the entrance, but before entering– he fixes himself first. Dusting his clothes and brushing his hair with his fingers, he took a deep breath.
“Yah! There you are!” Looking up, Hyunjin was met with a panicked looking Han. He walks to him.
“Shit. I’m sorry! I got stuck with some paperworks that Jinho left me then got stuck in traffic that’s why I–”
“Ssshh! It’s fine, Felix hasn’t arrived yet, you’re still cool.” Han cuts him off, making him let out a deep exhale. “But you better go inside and explain to Seungmin.”
Hyunjin furrows his brows; “And where are you going?”
“Chan told me to buy some matches since lighters aren’t allowed inside. Wanna come?”
Hyunjin shakes his head, “Nah. Seungmin might kill me if I don’t show my face right at this moment.”
“Alrighty~” and Han walks off to the other side. Hyunjin takes a deep breath before going inside.

The surprise party for Felix was a success. The party started not long after Felix gave a short speech to thank everyone for celebrating him and his dream. Letting out a few grateful tears, the 7 boys (who were the masterminds of the plan) engulf him in a warm and bone-crushing hug, squeezing a loud and genuine laughter from the freckled baker.
It was supposed to be just a small gathering of close friends at the bar Chan and the other guys rented, but knowing Felix, he basically knew and is friends with A LOT of people. The place was almost packed with new and familiar faces. You were overwhelmed at first but good thing, you had Jeongin and a few close friends invited that you somehow managed to have a good time.
“Shit. Jeongin, we need to get back.” You say when you see the time on your phone screen. “We still have work tomorrow.”
Jeongin’s eyes widened. “Ah shit, you’re right. I forgot I’m not a student anymore.” He sighs. The table erupts in laughter.
“Awe, can’t you guys just call in sick?” One of your friends, Giselle, asked in a pout.
You mirror her expression, “Sorry, Gi. We can’t. I mean, one of us needs to be present at least. Or we both lose our jobs. I can’t afford to lose it, maybe Jeongin can.”
“No way in hell would I give up my job. It was already hard looking for one.” Jeongin scoffs. “If it weren’t for noona over here,” He nudges you, “I’d still be jobless.”
You laugh at him, “That’s why we need to get back. You owe me a ride.”
“Yes, Ma’am. I just need to talk with Chan hyung real quick and maybe take a bathroom break, then we can leave.”
You gave him a nod, “Okay, I need to go and find Felix too. We can just meet outside.”
Changbin, who originally belonged to a different table and has been going around like the social butterfly that he is, finds his way into your group and instantly blends in. He pouts as he playfully clings to your arm, already tipsy.
“But Y/N-ah~ can’t you just stay for a bit?”
In that short span, you and him managed to get closer as you playfully flirted with each other (all thanks to the alcohol inside you).
“I’m sorry Bin, maybe next time?” You tell him, giving him your dimpled smile. He giggles.
“Yeah, alright.”
The group laughs again, teasing how you easily got Changbin wrapped around your finger and Changbin didn’t even complain; just giggled before sending you a wink. Jeongin just shakes his head in disbelief while you just let out a laugh.
“Bye guys~”
You and Jeongin bid the group a good night and left the table.
“Give me a call once you’re outside, okay? So I know where you are.” He tells you.
“Okay, hyung.” You joke as he gives your head a soft pat. You let out another laugh before you both went your separate ways.
You slowly felt the exhaustion sipping through your veins as you looked around the place for your freckled friend, the loud music and being in a crowd wasn’t helping at all. You had a gift for Felix but you decided to just give it to him later since you got dragged by one of your friends earlier. You almost gave up but thankfully, you saw his golden locks by the bar when a feeling of hesitation hit you when you saw him talking with a lot of guy friends but before you could back out of your plan– Felix spots you and waves, making two of his friends turn to you.
You gave him a small wave in return as he signaled for you to come. Taking a deep breath, you had no choice but to walk, not wanting to embarrass him.
Felix greets you with a big grin as he quickly puts an arm over your shoulder and introduces you to his friends, much to your dislike. One by one, your eyes scan every face– aside from having an already good-looking friend, one thing you liked about having Felix is that he also has good-looking friends. They all smiled back and one even sent you a wink, making you give him a look when suddenly, your eyes go big when it lands on a particular face–
“You?!”
Hyunjin mirrors your look, almost spitting out the drink in his mouth before he gulps and clears his throat. “You..”
Felix turns to you, “You know each other?”
And before you could answer, you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. Fetching it out, you saw Jeongin already calling. Hyunjin just continues to stare at you.
You bite your lip as you turn to face Felix fully, “This is for you, Lix.” Opening your bag, you took out a small red box.
Felix gasps. “Wah, what’s this?!”
“Is that a ring?! Are you proposing–” Han was cut off by Minho covering his mouth with his hand.
You couldn’t help laughing as you shake your head. “No, but it isn’t much either. It’s my simple way of telling you how proud I am of you!” You tell him with glee.
“But I need to go now! I still have work tomorrow but we’ll come by once work hours end, okay?” You tell him, giving Felix one last hug before you walk off and leave but not without turning to Hyunjin and the others.
“Bye.”
Opening the faculty door, a grinning Jeongin greets you once you get to your desk, which is beside his.
“What are you so happy about?” You raised a brow, “Did something happen in class or..?”
Jeongin giggles. You give him a weirded out look as you start fixing the stack of test papers that needed to be checked. “You’re creeping me out. Stop it, Jeongin.”
“I heard from Felix hyung that you caught somebody’s attention at his party three nights ago~”
That made you give him a questioning look. “Me?! Caught somebody’s eye? I didn’t even leave our table that night? How could that be possible?!”
Jeongin shrugs. “I don't know, but Felix hyung just called and asked me to ask you if it was okay if he gave your number to a friend of ours.”
“Is it Changbin?” A giggle comes out of your lips. “Because if it is, I think I remember exchanging socials with him that–”
“Nope, nope.” Jeongin shakes his head. “This is a different friend, noona.”
This makes you pause as you give Jeongin another look. He happily smiles in return, making you look at him suspiciously. It’s been days already, how could someone still remember you…?
“So, what should I tell hyung? Or are you just going to tell him yourself when we drop by his shop later?”
You sigh. “I can’t Innie, I need to do some errands today then I have to drop by my parents house to check my cats and dogs. I miss my babies at home, I haven’t seen them for so long now.”
Jeongin nods, “Do you need a ride? I can give you a ride.”
You shake your head, “Nah, Thanks though! I don’t want to abuse your kindness by offering me free rides,” You tell him.
“I might need it more later on.” before laughing when you heard Jeongin scoff, shaking his head.
“What should I tell Felix hyung then?”
“About what?” Absolutely forgetting what you were talking about earlier, you tilt your head in question.
Jeongin couldn’t help but roll his eyes at you. “Aigoo, noona. You are hopeless sometimes.”
Blinking, you retrace your memory before letting out a giggle. “Oh, you mean about giving my number to your friend?”
Jeongin nods, now focused on his phone as he starts typing.
“Yeah, sure. Whatever.” You didn’t care as much as you started fixing your things inside your bag. You didn’t even think that it was true.
“Okay, he already gave it to him.” Jeongin informs, “Felix hyung said to expect a call later or tomorrow.”
Giving him a raised eyebrow, not believing any of his words. “This isn’t a prank, right, Innie?”
“I mean, it’s not that I’ll be expecting but y’know how I get with people I don’t know yet or haven’t seen…”
Jeongin shakes his head. “I swear, noona. He’s a nice guy but if he ends up not calling or texting, I’ll take care of it for you but Felix hyung sounded way too excited about it so I bet you he will.”
You just end up giving him a shrug.
“Alright, I’ll leave it up to you two then.” Letting out a soft laugh, you grab your things. “But I have to go now. I need to get there and get back as early as possible. Take care on your way later, okay?”
Jeongin grins, nodding. “Yup. You too, noona.”
“See you tomorrow, Innie~”

Hyunjin was busy working on a project on his computer, moving something on the screen with the arrow when suddenly your face pops in his head– distracting him once again as he shakes his head for the nth time.
He sighs in distress, covering and rubbing his face in frustration as he pushes his chair away from his desk. “Ugh..”
Hyunjin couldn’t shake you off of his mind after seeing you for the second time. He didn’t know what was with you but you kept popping up in his head and it's been a week. Hyunjin couldn’t just forget your face and how pretty you looked that night with the short interaction you two had (again) and couldn’t help but feel his face heat up each time. Standing up, he goes to the common area to get himself a drink– maybe it’s the exhaustion from the lack of sleep he had been experiencing for the project he’s currently working on– he sighs, nodding to himself.
“Hey, Hwang! Good timing, I need your immaculate taste; Which is better, blue or yellow?” Han suddenly pops up beside him and shows him two pictures with the same interior design of a room but with different colors.
Hyunjin hums, “Blue is better, it goes with the color of the carpet.” He points, before turning around to throw his paper cup in the trash bin.
“Thanks, You are amazing!” Han says, “Oh, anyway, you have a date tonight, right? Don’t worry, you can leave early today, I can cover–”
“I canceled that already, Han. I’m not going anymore.” Hyunjin sighs.
“What?!” His voice could be heard all over the place making Hyunjin turn to him and send him a glare. “Why?! Ha?!”
Hyunjin wasn’t in the mood to talk or explain so he just waved off his hand. “It's already been done, Han. Stop making it like a big deal–”
“Not make it a big deal?! How can I not make it a big deal when you practically beg and ask me for help to get you a date? And now–”
Hyunjin covers his friend’s mouth, glaring down at him. “Would you fucking lower your voice?!”
Han nods before Hyunjin removes his hand.
“It just doesn’t make sense,” Han is completely baffled. "You haven’t even met her yet?!”
“A change of heart, I guess..” Hyunjin shrugs as he exhales. “Now, stop making a fuss and go back to your work.”
As Hyunjin makes his way back to his desk, Han was quick to follow close. Hyunjin did have this case of jumping from one date to another when he didn't really feel a connection from the first meeting. But what felt odd to Han about this one is Hyunjin hasn’t even met this girl yet he just canceled on her like that?! Just because of another girl he met personally? Something was definitely fishy…
“Yah! You’re hiding something from me. I know you do! Come on, tell me!”
Hyunjin gets back on his chair, sighing, “It’s nothing big, Han, I’ll just tell you later–”
“Tell me now!” And Hyunjin knew better; he knew how stubborn Han is so he really has no choice.
He sighs, “I met another girl…”
“YOU MET ANOTH–”
“Jesus Christ, Han. Lower your fucking voice!” Hyunjin says through gritted teeth.
“Ok, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” he raises his hands in surrender. “But you met another girl?! Where?! Who?! When?!”
Suddenly, Hyunjin felt embarrassed and a little panicked. He knew Han too well and telling him about you?! Han would definitely burst and make fun of him, then he’ll tell Changbin and some other friends and it's gonna be the end for Hyunjin, for sure. His friends don't really get his hopeless romantic ass and makes fun of him for it, but he gets it— that not all people are like him and will not be able to understand his view. So he decides to refrain himself from telling them details about his love life.
Plus Hyunjin isn’t in love with you- that’s bullshit. He just met you twice with short interactions, that’s it. Or maybe he developed a crush on you… he had met countless girls before yet there was something about you he simply couldn’t just brush off.
But he really isn’t in love, no way he could be, especially with a stranger?! That’s impossible– right?
Han waves a hand in front of Hyunjin’s face, causing him to shake his head lightly. “Dude, you’re zoning out… again.”
“Shit, sorry,” Hyunjin sighs for the nth time. “Where was I?”
“You met a girl as you were saying…” Han looks at him, urging him to continue.
Hyunjin takes a deep breath. “I met a girl and that’s it.” He says, shrugging.
“What do you mean, that’s it?” He didn’t really wanna tell him.
“That’s it, Han. I met a girl. Now stop bothering me.” Hyunjin states, before going back to his work, ignoring Han completely.
Good thing, Bang Chan, the head of the team, came for his daily rounds in the office and happily pulled Han away from Hyunjin’s desk and back to his.
Hyunjin wanted to see you again– but he couldn’t. Well, honestly he could, he just didn’t know how to without feeling awkward and shy. As good looking as he is and often goes on dates, Hyunjin still gets shy whenever he needs to make the first move; maybe because it's always the other party making a move on him… but he knew he needed to see you- he needed to test and find something out before even thinking of stopping and going completely insane from thinking too much.
“Fuck this...” He swears under his breath as he grabs his phone and dials Felix’ number. Three rings were heard before he picks up;
“Hey, Lix?.. Yeah.. Are you busy?... Nah, I just kind of need your help, man..”
•••••
You let out a deep sigh once you got to an empty seat on the bus. It’s already night time and you were on your way back to your own place from your parent’s house. Tiring but you felt happy to be able to see them after a month or so of being busy. Getting to see your babies (pets) all healthy and equally excited to see you took all the tiredness you felt after work, plus taking some home-cooked meals you can reheat and store for the week was all worth the journey.
City lights passed by the window as you felt relaxed, enjoying the view while listening to the song currently playing through your earphones. You leaned back, about to close your eyes to rest for a bit when your song was cut off by someone calling. Groaning, you sat up straight and looked at your phone.
You blink, “Who’s this..?”
Flashed on your screen is an Unknown Number calling… Usually you wouldn't answer it but somehow you felt the need to, thinking it might just be one of your co-workers or somebody you knew who changed their number, so you swipe to the green circle on your screen;
“Um, Hello? Who’s this?”
The first thing you hear is a nervous chuckle, making you furrow your brows.
“Hey, Uhm… I got your number from Felix. He told me it was okay to call you up so…”
You blink, remembering what Jeongin told you earlier about their friend. So it wasn’t a joke after all…
“My name’s Hyunjin, by the way. I’m the guy from Felix’ party and the one who saved you? If you can still remember..”
It’s been exactly a day since Hyunjin called you. You both got to talking and eventually Hyunjin asked if you two could meet up again– Intrigue yet doubtful, he somehow manages to persuade you which leads to your current situation; at Felix’ bakeshop, waiting for him. Seated in a somewhat isolated spot from the others that Felix personally placed you.
“Here.. It’s in the house.” Felix places a plate of cookies on your table. “Something to munch on while you wait.” He then smiles.
“Awwww, Lix. You don’t have to.”
“But I want to.” He explains. “Plus I know that look on your face. Nervous?”
You just gave him a nod as you took one cookie that went quickly into your mouth.
Felix grins.
“Is it good?”
Swallowing, you nod vigorously. “The best! Thanks for these, Lix.” You tell him, taking another cookie.
“So..” He settles himself on Hyunjin’s spot, still empty, a shit-eating grin plastered on his freckled face. “What’s this? Do you like him?! Is this a date? Are you two going out already?”
You laugh at him, shaking your head. “No, Lix. He just wanted to meet up, that’s all. I also wanted to give him a gift as a thank you for saving me from the incident.”
Felix gasps, “Wait–” Lifting his palm up, “He’s the guy you told us saved you from crossing?!”
You nod, feeling shy all of a sudden.
“Oh my god– No way!”
“Yes way!” You giggle out. “It’s some odd coincidence but–”
“Coincidence?! This is destiny, babe! You were meant to see each other again! And it's all thanks to me?!” He lets out another gasp, making you laugh harder yet your cheeks weren’t the only ones warming up, your tummy as well.
“Aigoo, Felix.” You try waving off the topic, rolling your eyes in feign annoyance but he ignores you and continues.
“You guys! If you ever get married, the cake’s on me and all the dessert–”
“Hey! I’m sorry I’m late– Felix?”
A slightly panting Hyunjin comes, cutting Felix’ words. His hair is a little disheveled- maybe it's windy outside but still good looking, you couldn’t help but take note of. Looking down at his friend on his supposed seat.
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in the kitchen?”
Felix quickly gets up, a sheepish laugh passing through his lips. Hyunjin cocks an eyebrow at him before turning to you.
“Hey,” An instant smile to his face, “I’m so sorry I’m late, we had an emergency meeting and–”
“It’s fine, you don’t need to explain.” You gave him a smile. “Did you eat? Felix brought some cookies over if you like, have some and rest for a bit.”
You didn’t mean to cut him off but he didn’t mind either as his smile only grew, sitting down as his eyes remained on you.
Felix watches the exchange and he couldn’t help the giddy feeling boiling up in his tummy.
“I’ll leave you two to settle. Just call me when you need anything~” He says before scurrying off.
“How about you? Have you eaten yet?”
You shake your head, “Nope. But I did have some Iced coffee while waiting.”
With discreet eyes, you watch him as he takes off his coat and puts it over his seat’s backrest. Wearing a short sleeve inner polo– his arm muscles visibly shown as the light from the ceiling perfectly highlights them as he moves, making you gulp and quickly turn away when he faces you again.
“That’s good,” Hyunjin chuckles, picking up a cookie. “But it’s not a proper meal. Do you wanna go somewhere and eat dinner together?”
“Don’t you want to rest up first?” You ask after clearing your throat.
“I’m okay, don’t worry.” Hyunjin gives you a smile. “I ran just in case you decided to leave already.”
You laugh. “Why would I leave when I agreed to meet you?”
Hyunjin shrugs, meeting your eyes. “Just didn’t want to risk losing another chance to see you again.”
Taken aback, you didn’t know what to reply as you looked back at him.
“Let’s just say that I had an inkling that we’re meant to meet…”
Never in your life have you had a guy say ‘inkling’ with such a sincere look on his face… nor did you ever imagine hearing it from a guy. You blink at him, completely speechless– but in a somewhat good way. Does he really believe in such a feeling; A man?! With feelings?! And believes in signs?! Is there even such a man?! Maybe it's all in your head…
You hear him sigh, pulling you out of your thoughts. You see him lean back, a defeated look on his face, making you furrow your brows in concern.
“What happened? Are you okay?”
Hyunjin nods, “I get it.” He exhales again. “You don’t believe in that, y’know, kind of stuff.” His lips formed into a thin line. “It’s fine though, not all people do. I was just–”
“What made you think that I don’t like that kind of stuff?” Raising an eyebrow, you tilt your head in interest.
“You were looking at me like I’m some weirdo just seconds ago..” He couldn’t help the roll of his eyes.
“I–” You place a hand to your chest, “I was?!”
“Yeah, but that’s alright, I guess..”
“Wait–” You suddenly felt guilty, raising your hands to stop him.
“I didn’t mean to, okay? I mean– I wasn’t supposed to- but I was just thinking and I didn’t really mean to look at you like you’re weird- you aren’t, okay?! I just can’t control my face sometimes, especially when I’m thinking and that’s actually a big problem of mine.” You let out a sigh.
“People are quick to assume that I’m judging when I’m really just thinking hard,” You couldn’t help but roll your eyes. “That I forget that my face shows what I’m not saying so I almost always send the wrong message but I–”
Hyunjin couldn’t help but let out a giggle, cutting you off as you gave him a bewildered look.
“Okay, now what?!”
You were getting a little annoyed now. But just a little, as another sigh passes through your lips. You couldn’t afford to get pissed with such a face looking at you– even if you wanted to.
Hyunjin takes a deep breath, “Nothing, I’m sorry, it's just–” He chuckles while shaking his head. “You just looked cute when you were talking.”
You blink. “Thanks, I guess?” Rolling your eyes at him yet you feel your cheeks heat up.
Another small laugh comes out of Hyunjin, “But okay, I understand now. I’m sorry for assuming so easily.”
You let out a breath. “I’m sorry too for… looking rude and blabbering.”
“Why don’t we settle this over some dinner?” He asks, tilting his head slightly. “Sounds good?”
Rolling your eyes again as a chuckle follows out. “Yeah, alright. I was getting hungry anyway.”
•••••
Hyunjin hears his phone vibrate against the wood table from his room. Rinsing his mouth and wiping his face, he quickly made his way out of his bathroom.
*A new message from you*
A big grin plaster on his lips as he opens the message.
You: I might get there later than planned. We have an emergency faculty meeting at 3 :(
Amused laughter left his lips when he saw the sad face at the end of your text. What a cutie.. He thinks to himself before replying;
Hyunjin: That’s fine, I can pick you up if you want?
Hyunjin watches the three dots; indicating you were typing a reply before it vanishes. He chuckles, tossing his phone to his bed as he starts getting dressed for work, not wanting to seem like he was waiting for your reply, which he was. After finally having to meet you again and talk over dinner; everything just seemed to fall into place. Getting to know you more over the past weeks of unending messaging and friendly hang outs at Felix’ shop (with Jeongin), he was definitely getting more and more drawn to you, which is why he didn’t waste any more time on asking you out again. This time on a real date. Much to his surprise, you didn't hesitate in saying yes.
As he watches himself in front of his whole-body mirror, tying his tie; his mind brings him to the thought of you– your smile and giggling face etched on his mind already– A big goofy smile stretched out on his lips as his heart rate fastened a little, making him roll his eyes at himself.
“You’re gonna be late if you continue daydreaming…” He glares at himself as he finishes tying his tie and fixing his shirt. Grabbing his coat, his eyes land on his phone on his bed.
*2 new messages from you*
Opening your messages, he instantly smiles.
You: No! It’s fine! I’m a big girl already, I can take care of myself, Mister. ;)
You: You’ll need to take a different route if you go over and fetch me here :( I’ll just ride with Jeongin later if the meeting ends earlier. ^^
Hyunjin couldn’t fight the fluttering feeling in the pits of his stomach, biting down on his lip as he types in a reply to you;
Hyunjin: If you say so, Pretty girl ;) Just message me if you ever change your mind, okay? ^^ I’d happily go any way just to get you.
You: Will do~ Take care on your way. I’ll see you later, Hwang~ ♡
Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Hyunjin shoves his phone inside his pocket before he grabs his bag, walking out of his place and facing another work day with a beating heart and an excited smile. The fluttering feeling only intensifies with the thought of seeing you after.
It's been long since Hyunjin felt this way again- like a teenage boy falling in love for the first time- but unlike his past, Hyunjin never craved someone this much before. Your attention!? He wanted it. Your smile and laughter!? He wanted to be the reason behind them– There was definitely something different about you and he wanted it all to himself.
But he wasn’t in any rush at all. Unlike his past relationship; with you he felt more comfortable and more expressive. Hyunjin didn’t feel the need to show off that he can do this or he can do that just for you to like him– and his heart is fluttering once again in his chest. Biting his lip, he drives out from the basement parking lot, looking forward to seeing you at the end of the day.
•••••
You look through the inside of your bag as you walk, Jeongin chuckles. “What are you looking for, noona?”
“My phone! I must’ve left it at the table in the meeting ro— nope! It’s here!”
Jeongin laughs, “Waiting for Hyunjin hyung’s call?”
You blush, “W-well–” It was true but someone you didn’t want to admit it, clearing your throat. “Did you call me a taxi already?”
“Yeah, your ride’s probably on its way.” Jeongin sighs, “You look extra dolled up today, did he finally ask you out on a date?”
“Is it that obvious? Maybe I took it too much?! I’ll just head to the bathroom and take a look–”
“Aigoo, noona.” Jeongin stops you mid-sentence as he grabs both of your shoulders, making you look up at him.
“Stop panicking, okay? You look nice and pretty. You are going on a date obviously. Don't think too much of it and just enjoy it, okay?”
You blink at him before exhaling. “You’re right, Innie. I’m sorry…”
Jeongin sighs as well, “I get it that you're nervous– Hyunjin hyung might be too– and that’s normal. Just try and enjoy the night, please? Don't overanalyze things and just be yourself.”
You nod, already feeling comforted by Jeongin and his words. He really feels like one of your real brothers. Jeongin nods back, removing his hands off of you and taking out his phone.
“Your ride just texted. He’s outside.”
Giving him one last hug; “Thank you, Innie. I owe you one.”
Jeongin grins. “Don’t worry about it, noona. And don’t bother going to work tomorrow, I’ll handle your class for you since they’ll just be taking exams.”
“Ha? Why? It’s not like–”
The suggestive wiggle of Jeongin’s eyebrows made you erupt in a blushing mess. “YAH– Yang Jeongin! You and your dirty mind!”
He laughs, “Hey, I’m just being a friend, noona. Enjoy your date, okay? And don’t go home early, spend time with him until midnight.”
You roll your eyes at him, “Whatever, Jeongin. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Bye bye, noona~”
Shaking your head, you walk out of the building with a goofy grin on your face but soon enough, it was replaced by a surprised look when you saw who was waiting by the sidewalk.
Hyunjin leans on his gray BMW convertible, head hang low as he types on his cellphone, still unaware of your presence. His black locks pushed back, a few strands framing the sides of his forehead and eyes as a pair of frameless glasses sits prettily on the bridge of his nose; the light on his phone accentuates the details on his face even if he had his head lowered. He was wearing a white button up polo with the sleeves folded up to his mid biceps. Black pants and some black loafers. Dressed casually yet he served with every fit he wears. Your eyes instinctively went up to one of his hands that pushed his hair away; he was wearing rings and had black nail polish on. Biting your lip as you couldn’t help the lewd thoughts of having his hand wrapped around your neck while— you quickly shook your head when you felt yourself heat up between your legs. Taking a deep breath to wake yourself up before walking up to him.
Fixated in typing on his phone, you loudly cleared your throat once you got near him, startling the poor boy in the process. You let out a giggle.
“Waiting for someone?” You ask him, masking your nerves by being flirty. He meets your gaze as he sighs, playfully rolling his eyes in return.
“Yeah, for you..” He answers, making you giggle. He starts to stare, noticing you weren’t wearing your usual outfit whenever you two hang out; which is your school teaching uniform. A proud smirk paints his lips before meeting your gaze again. “Wow~ All of this? For me?”
It’s your turn to roll your eyes back, turning your head to the side to hide the blush on your cheeks, “Nah, I’m meeting with someone else later.” Sticking your tongue out, Hyunjin laughs.
“Well, he better wait cause I’m not letting you leave me any time soon.” He winks as he reaches out his hand for you.
Cue in the butterflies rioting in your tummy as you reach for his hand, laughing it out. Hyunjin opens the door to the passenger seat for you before jogging his way to the driver’s seat.
“Ready?”
You gave him a nod as he grins back before starting the engine and driving off; you had a great feeling about this date, you just know it…
And Hyunjin had the same exact feeling.
Time went fast and it's already late in the night yet you two were still out. The date started off with Hyunjin taking you to his friend’s newly opened mini art exhibition. You both shared the love for arts and crafts so what better way to spend time together than at a private art exposé? Hyunjin was hitting two birds with one stone; Supporting a friend while also having exclusive time with you. And to say, Hyunjin and you did enjoy every second of it.
After that, it was almost time for dinner so Hyunjin drove you both to the restaurant he had reserved two days prior. You both spend the dinner eating while laughing and giggling; getting to know each other more on a deeper level. Sharing stories from childhood; Exploring hobbies that the both of you would likely enjoy doing together; Exchanges of likes and dislikes about certain things and talking about anything under the sun– well, moon. There were winks and flirty exchanges as well; Hyunjin being the brave one to initiate such while you would either laugh or playfully roll your eyes in return but you couldn’t deny how you were getting more attached to him already. You spend the whole dinner just basking and drowning yourselves in each other's presence, basically.
Then after, assuming it was already the end of the date; Hyunjin takes you by surprise by taking a sudden turn and driving up a steep path. It would’ve sent alarms in your head but it didn’t– only excitement and curiosity filled your system as you turned to the boy with a questioning eyebrow. He laughs before sending a wink; “Don’t worry, babe. I’m just taking you to my secret place.”
And that’s how you two end up here. By a hill. Seated on the blanket Hyunjin grabbed from his trunk and set it down on the grassfield. Hyunjin really comes prepared as he takes out a cooler from his trunk filled with alcoholic to non-alcoholic beverages causing you to let out an amused laugh when he offers you a beer.
“Since you are driving, you only get to drink the cola.” You tell him, exchanging the beer in his hand with a can of soda as you took his drink as yours.
“Cheers?”
Hyunjin sighs, still a smile on his face as he clinks his can with your beer bottle. You two spend the time on more talking and flirting. You couldn’t even finish your beer when you send him another playful roll of your eyes at him.
“If I knew you’d just be rolling your eyes at me like that for the rest of the night then I would’ve just brought you back to my place where you can roll your eyes at me inside my room..” he winks, finishing his second can of soda before laughing at the look on your face.
You scoff, “Just empty words, Hwang Hyunjin.” You tell him glaring this time before taking a swig of your beer.
It did help you go with Hyunjin’s flirtings without shying away..
“Oh, so does that mean that I can?”
“Can what?”
“Bring you home with me?”
Hyunjin smirks, waiting for your answer.
“I mean,” You gave him a shrug, finishing your drink. “I’m not some minor that still has curfew and no one’s stopping you… is there, Hyunjin?”
Cocking an eyebrow back, you knew your words had an effect on him when you saw how the glint from his eyes changed. Making you tilt your head to the side and bite your inner cheek.
This all thanks to the liquid courage that one beer bottle gave and your own stubbornness or you would have been such a putty mess under his strong dark gaze..
Everything happened so fast and the next thing you know is Hyunjin’s lips on yours in such a hungry kiss. Both of your eyes closed, Hyunjin holds your face in place as he plants his lips onto yours. Your hands, palms on the blanket, holding your upper body up as he starts moving his head but you quickly pull away, gulping with pupils blown out as you hold both of his wrists. You both stare at each other, chasing your breaths.
“We should go now.” You tell him, gulping once again before standing up as you dust your dress. Your whole face and body now feels so warm as the night breeze passes your face.
“... Okay.” Hyunjin suddenly felt guilty. He stands up as well, taking the cooler while you take the blanket and started folding it.
“I’m sorry–”
“So does your place have a bath tub?”
“What?” Hyunjin was taken aback by your question. He blinks.
“Does your place have a bathtub or just a shower? I mean, A bathtub’s nice but I prefer a shower..”
Hyunjin gives you a puzzled look, “I have both?” He answers, still confused as he watches you carry the folded blanket in your arms.
“That’s nice. Can I take a bath when we get there? Can I borrow some of your clothes or we can just pass by my place so I can–”
“Wait– what?”
You looked at him and saw the confusion on his face. You couldn’t help the laugh that came out.
“I thought you said you were taking me back to your place?” You raised another eyebrow at him, “Did you change your mind or–”
“N-No! No, I didn’t!” Hyunjin was quick to answer– maybe too quick for his own liking as a blush erupts on his face, making him clear his throat. You smiled at him.
“Well, I just thought that.. you meant by going… is back home.”
“Yeah?” You turn to him, tilting your head.
“And isn’t your place your home? That you’re going to take me to?”
You both ran down the hill to where Hyunjin parked his car. He practically throws the cooler and blanket in the trunk before opening the door for you and closing it before jogging his way to the driver seat. You laugh at how excited he looked; like a kid winning in a sports game in school.
Before turning on the vehicle, Hyunjin turns to you.
“Are you sure about this? I’m not pressuring you to come with me tonight–”
You lean over, placing a finger over his lips. “Just drive, Hwang.”
And Hyunjin follows without any word. While on your way, you couldn’t help the giddy feeling bubbling up in you, making you turn to Hyunjin. He had already put over the convertible’s roof since it was already late but the windows were open so the night breeze still entered the vehicle; His hair flew back, showing his perfectly sculpted face. It felt so unfair how he manages to still look so damn good and hot just while driving?! You bite down on your lip as you continue to stare, not minding if he knew or felt it.
Hyunjin did feel your eyes on him and he couldn’t help but chuckle.
“If you continue to stare at me like that, I might just have to pull over, babe.” He smirks, giving you a quick look before focusing back on the road.
Not hearing any response, Hyunjin was about to take another look at you when he felt your hand on his thigh, dangerously going up and in between. He gulps.
“Fuck, wait– Stop that.”
“What?” He hears you say, making him turn to look at you for a quick second; innocent looking eyes is what he sees.
“Y/N, please,”
Hyunjin grips the wheel when he feels you move your hand down this time. “Play fair, pretty girl.”
You couldn’t help but giggle as you continued to stroke his thigh, always pausing at the growing boner when suddenly he catches your hand, pausing your actions.
“I swear, If you don’t stop, you’ll regret it later, Y/N.”
The tone of his voice sent tingling sensations through your whole body and to your now wet core, making you shut up and rub your legs together in silence. Hyunjin holds your hand in place as he speeds through the night, his tongue poking through his cheeks as he grips the wheel. After some minutes of quiet tension inside the car, Hyunjin finally gets to his building and parks his car three floors down from his floor.
“I hope you’re ready to finish whatever you started, pretty girl.” He says, unbuckling his belt and letting go of your hand. “Cause you wont be able to walk straight once I’m done.”
You gulp as you watch him step out first and over to your door, he opens it while extending his hand.
“So again, Are you sure about this?” Hyunjin patiently waits for your answer before you grab his hand as he helps you out of his car, the smirk just growing on his lips.
You’ve never been so turned on by this kind of assurance before… you fear that you might just get obsessed.
“Prove it, Hwang.”
“Don’t mind if I do.”
•••••
Once you two enter his place, it kind of becomes a little awkward for Hyunjin as he starts cleaning up the mess he made earlier while getting ready to see you. You watch him as he quickly moves around, looking so panicked that it makes you let out a giggle.
“Hyunjin..”
Hyunjin pauses before turning to you, “Yes? Do you need anything?”
Grinning at him, you slowly made your way to him. Grabbing the things he picked up from his floor and settling them down on the coffee table, you look up at him with adoring eyes.
“I need you to relax, darling..” You tell him, cupping his face. Hyunjin was quick to melt into your touch, leaning in as his hands found your waist.
Both of you stare at each other for a good quiet minute as Hyunjin starts leaning over and captures your lips again. You smiled against his lips as you slowly wrapped your hands around his neck and he pulled you closer by your waist. He tilts his head to the side, deepening the kiss as he gently enters your mouth with his tongue. You let out a moan, feeling him explore every corner of the inside mouth, causing you to pull him closer. He smirks. Hyunjin starts back you up, as you follow, stumbling a bit but with Hyunjin’s hands holding you tight on your waist, you don't fall.
“Hyunjin..” You call out pulling a way but Hyunjin chases your lips.
He hums.
“I need to.. take a.. shower.” You tell him between kisses as Hyunjin manages to navigate you both inside his room.
“Shower… can wait..” He breathes against your lips before giving you another peck, “Because I can’t.”
Hyunjin pushes you gently, making you sit by the end of his bed. You watch him take off his white top; you gulp. Hyunjin sees your reaction and smirks;
“Are you going to take off your dress or would you like me ripping it off of you? Your choice..”
The heat between your legs spreads across your body as you take another gulp, looking at him with wide eyes. You didn’t know what was hotter? Undressing in front of him or Him undressing you? You bite on your lip.
“What do you think?” Cocking an eyebrow at him. You and your indecisiveness…
Hyunjin just smirks and leans over, making you lean back on your arms as he puts both of his muscled ones on either side, trapping you as he gives your lips another peck.
“I don't know, darling, but all I want right now is you out of those clothes..” He whispers against your lips.
You pull Hyunjin by the back of his neck closer, crashing your lips together desperately as you’ve been craving him for the past couple of weeks now.
“Do it for me, Hyun… Make me go crazy.”
And Hyunjin did as he was told. Picking you up and placing you in the middle of his bed; He doesn’t cut the kiss as his hands start running down to your sides. Finding the zipper on your right side, he pulls it down as his hand grabs at your exposed skin, giving it a squeeze, causing you to gasp against his mouth. Hyunjin once again enters his tongue inside your mouth, fighting yours in dominance but he pulls away for a minute to take off your dress in one swift motion. Your black laced undergarments get Hyunjin’s attention as he sits up and takes a moment to admire your body under him. His eyes start from your neck to your hieving chest; nipples erect through the laces making his already hardened member– twitches at the sight. He unconsciously takes a deep breath before leaning down again..
“You are fucking gorgeous..” He whispers against your ear, “I’m gonna have to apologize now for what I’m about to become because of you, darling.”
He starts leaving kisses from your ear to the side of your neck, pride bubbling in the pits of his stomach when he hears you whimper.
“You told me to make you go crazy but I'm the one loosing my mind because of you..”
He finds your lips again and this time, he kisses you with passion and need. He kisses you with such desperation as if you’ll be gone the next day; pouring all of his feelings that he has for you, hoping you’ll know all of it through it.
You pull him closer, the feelings overflowing and the need just growing; you couldn’t help but grind up on him, feeling him against his pants. You could tell that he wanted you as bad as you wanted him. And that’s all you have to know as a whimper passes your lips. One of your hands slides down between you and starts unbuckling his belt for him, making Hyunjin groan.
“Hyunjin, please..”
Hearing the desperation in your voice, Hyunjin finally had enough foreplay. He kneels on the bed, your legs under him still as you lift yourself up by your elbows– watching him take his pants off. Once they were off, he grabs his dick and gave it stroke– giving you a little show for you. Hyunjin smirks when he sees you rub your legs together as he reaches over his bed side table drawer to grab a condom. He rips it open and slips it on, your eyes never leaving his length, mouth watering for some reason as you gulp.
He then takes you by surprise when he reached down to you and practically tore your laced panties off. He laughs when he sees the surprised expression on your face, crawling onto bed and he hovers on top of you, both hands on either side of your head as he plants a kiss on your forehead.
“I’ll buy you another pair, I promise.” He says and with that he connects your lips together in another passionate kiss.
He doesn’t waste any more time as one of his hands slide down your tummy and in between your lips, causing you to gasp at the touch. He smirks and slowly inserts one finger in, the hands on his shoulder, tightens as you close your eyes in pleasure, mouth slightly agape. He watches every moment and he gulps when he hears you howl his name when he inserts the second one. He doesn’t know how long he’ll be able to hold back but just seeing you twist in pleasure just sends an exhilarating pain and pleasure in his cock.
“Hyunjin, please. Fast–”
Hyunjin cuts you off by removing his fingers and aligning his hard throbbing cock to your entrance. “Take a breath, princess–”
And with that he slowly enters you. A string of curses and high pitched wailing comes out of your mouth, your head thrown back as Hyunjin lets out a throaty moan.
“Fuck, Hyunjin– Faster! Move it! Please!” You cried against his head as he buries his head in between your neck and shoulder. He places open mouth kisses on the spot before slowly retracting his hips then– thrusts in deep and fast. Your bodies stick together like missing puzzle pieces, as you pull him closer. Your nail dug and left art-like marks on his back and Hyunjin painted your neck with his mouth and tongue.
You throw your head back when you feel your walls clenching as your eyes close shut; Hyunjin softly biting down on your shoulder, body heating up as he feels himself on the edge as well. The clenching of your walls sends a blissful sensation through him.
“Shit– fuck, I-I’m cumming–”
You take his face and kiss him as you both release at the same time. The both of were a panting mess as Hyunjin puts his forehead against yours after. You still had your eyes closed while holding his face as Hyunjin looks at you…
A blooming feeling in his chest once he sees you blink and open your eyes. Locking gazes, he couldn’t help but plant another kiss– a sweet and just full of love. You smiled againsnt his lips, making him smile in return.
Hyunjin might have just fallen in love with you…
Pulling away, you couldn’t help the giggle as you caressed the side of his face. Hyunjin looks at you, confused but his smile is still intact.
“Now, I really need a shower.” you tell him as he lays down beside you, hands around your waist as he faces you.
“Yeah, me too. Why don’t we just shower together then?”
The glint in his eyes makes you roll yours at him. Pushing him playfully, Hyunjin laughs as he pulls you close, encasing you in his arms.
•••••
You woke up to a cold empty side where Hyunjin laid and voices coming from not so far from the bed. Blinking, you slowly sat up and looked around as you pull the covers up to your chest;
“Good morning, Gorgeous.”
You turn by the door and see a grinning Hyunjin walking up to the bed. He had his phone in his hand as he placed it down by the bedside table. He sits down on his side of the bed.
“How are you feeling?” He asked, tilting his head a little and reaching over to tuck a strand behind your ear.
“I’m still sleepy,” you said in a pout. He laughs amusingly, moving closer and taking you in his arms.
He was still shirtless but had pants on, thank goodness. He places an arm around your waist while the other pats your head softly.
“Then why’d you wake up?”
You huff a breath, “Cause I still need to call Jeongin and tell him that I might not be able to get to work since I’m still so tired… and sore.”
Hyunjin lets out another laugh that made you playfully hit his chest, pulling away from him. “This is your fault, dummy. Don't laugh.”
“Well, I did apologize in advance last night. Remember?” He rolls his eyes at you, bopping your nose with his finger.
You roll your eyes back, “Who were you talking to? Aren’t you going to work today?”
He shakes his head. “Nope, just called that I can’t make it today and I also called Jeongin already.”
“Huh?! Why?”
“He called your phone earlier but I didn’t want to answer it using yours,” He nodded at your unattended phone by the night stand beside his. “So I called him with mine after I called my office.”
You just stare at him in complete awe as Hyunjin plays with your hands on the blanket.
“Say, you wanna go out and eat breakfast— why are you staring at me?”
You sigh, grabbing his hands and intertwining your fingers together. You shake your head as he chuckles.
“Wanna go grab breakfast with me? Or do you wanna stay in bed for 5 minutes more?”
A giddy feeling kicks in that makes you lean and peck Hyunjin on the lips. “Anything is good, as long as it's with you.”
Hyunjin gives you a grin before wrapping his arms around you, as he pulls you back, falling onto the bed. Both of you break out in fits of giggle; wanting nothing more than to savor each moment together.
Maybe it was fate after all… plus the chemistry you two have is undeniable– even in bed.
