Are there any other THL characters on the aroace spectrum?

its all up to personal interpretations at the end of the day, so like... anyone and everyone could be aroaspec if you wanted them to be. but I also really like aroaspec (cupioromantic?) moko, particularly because of her brand of EXTREMELY strict amatonormative conformity. moko seems like a character that thinks they understand the "rules" around love and relationships, and can therefore dictate what is and isn't an "acceptable" form of love. if loving someone has rules, all she needs to do is follow them and everything will work out. also her line about really admiring someone and thinking she had a crush on them only to realize later that it was never romantic love is sooo 🤨 to me. I know what you are.

as for fully aroace, I love aroace ima, since everyone knows and understands that aromanticism and asexuality caused by trauma is still very valid, right...? I cant see him desiring any kind of romantic or sexual relationship after all that, maybe one day after he's grown up and healed, but for right now aroace implies a total rejection of that brand of intimacy, which I think he'd find comfort in. even if his identity does end up shifting later.

eito could also fall under the spectrum validly, seeing as how his cognitive disorder prevents him from finding anybody attractive, but I don't think he would really identify with it much since I like to see eito as someone who rejects every label created by vile disgusting humanity. I think he would love the concept though. a yandere lotus flower that doesn't have sex

i wish there were deeper conversations about aromanticism and/or asexuality aside from the typical “they can date, its a spectrum, this is what a qpr is” because all of the aforementioned topics insist on defining being aroace in a way thats more easily digestible for those outside the label, still centering around what attraction is and then “but you still feel some attraction, dont you?” and then going, well, yes, technically, and explaining the exceptions to them; the exceptions are all they focus on, its “attraction lite” and the Lack of attraction is completely disregarded in favor of the little attraction

the amount of times ive seen people try to define what a qpr is and boxing that term into something so offensively simple and so catered to people who can’t comprehend non-conventional relationships is like. far too many. by defining it you are misrepresenting it because it is inherently a relationship outside of definition

and there is an intimacy in being aromantic and asexual and having your own personal view of what that means to you and i rly think its far more complex and interconnected with other queer identities than people bother to talk about !!! being aroace deconstructs so many norms in both straight and queer spaces that its a shame it isnt talked about more thoroughly in general

I am not a strict eitaku shipper and I multiship excessively but I think I can weigh in on this because im a professional opinion haver so No, I dont think takumi is in love with hiruko in S.F. route. Nor does he love anybody romantically at all in any route. Because you see. He's aromantic. But!

That doesn't mean his relationship with her is any less significant. Being romantically involved with someone is not inherently more powerful or interesting than having a strictly platonic bond with them. Hiruko loves him anyway and is perfectly fine if he doesn't love her back, as long as shes important to him in some way at the end of the day.
