I've released the next short story in An Aspec for All Seasons, my anthology series featuring arospec and acespec characters and holidays/seasonal events.

It's been quite awhile, but I've dropped a new book! For Normalcy is a collection of thirty poems exploring life on the aromatic and asexual spectrums, both negative experiences and positive.

Content warning: contains discussions of aphobia, both internal and external, and aspec exclusion/antgonism.

You might have heard of doing energy work with stuff like "white light" or "love energy." And these things are fine if they're something you can call up, but sometimes you might not be feeling it. Maybe you're depressed and a little anxious, and you're in no condition to conjure these things up. So look at what you do have.

Fear is a kind of "chilly" emotion, right? Maybe try visualizing your energy as ice. Do you have frustration? Even anger? Maybe thorny vines would work. Do you feel a heavy sadness? What about trying heavy chains? Obviously these aren't the only things you could try; they're just a few examples. You can experiment and try other things you feel fit your feelings.

Active pursuit, communication, understanding, enterprise, education, composure, skill, talent, activity and lack of or increasing speed.

Thursdays:

Colors: Green and Orange.

Planet: Jupiter.

Abundance, profession, career, grounding, stamina, good luck, skills, metaphysical health, and wealth.

Fridays:

Colors: Red and Pink.

Planet: Venus.

Meditations, sensuality, emotional healing, reflection, romance, glamours, love, beauty, attraction, self care, and lust.

Saturdays:

Colors: Grey and Black.

Planet: Saturn.

Rejuvenation, release, cleansing, divination, banishment, astral travel, transformation, warding, and baneful workings.
