I have told myself countless times that I am so done with you, that it’s over and that I will never ever think about you anymore. I’m okay for days, months even, but then I remember you out of the blue and then I get the hives. I feel the anxiety escalating. I then start looking for excuses to click your name just to see how you’re doing. I immediately regret this, for one look at your page tells me that you’re happy. Genuine, “oh I’m in a new relationship again” bliss. It sucks, but you’re as carefree and guiltless as ever. This thing or whatever I have for you is toxic. Don’t worry though, because it won’t ever touch you. I guess I should be thankful for that at least. Do you know the cycle of abuse? It’s exactly like this, only that both the abuser and abused is me.

Love yourself first and everything else falls into line.You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.
