The most important thing about the modern enthusiasts of Socialism is not  that they want to revive a political ideology with a consistent track record of failure, but  they have no clear idea what specific changes they intend to make to assure that it does not occur once again. They essentially take the stance that “We’ll come up with something”. So the fervor and commitment that they devote to denouncing the Free Enterprise system (with all of its vast benefits) is greater than their devotion to correcting the fatal flaws of the ideology that they wish to replace it with.
