TRADITIONS Growth Ceremony - When a pup reaches the age of three months, they will be assigned a mentor by a member of the counsel. This event is overseen by all of the leadership in the pack, and all those in the branch of mentoring the pup is aspiring to join. They are then gifted something by their chosen mentor, and their time of training can begin. Graduation Trials - Once a mentor believes their trainee is ready for ranking, they will be put through a trial. Their task is simple: retrieve the alpha’s prized possession from Howlers Cave. Alone. ( Of course, their mentor and a respected tier member will be watching from the shadows, secretly, in case of trouble. ) They will be tasked with many challenges along the way, and if completed ( or shown valiant attempt ) they will rank up. Graduation Ceremony - When a trainee has perfected their training and become a mature member of the pack, they will begin their start as an adult of the pack. They are then considering a regular member of the pack, and given responsibilities like any other within their rank. Mateship Ceremony - When two dogs have decided to officially take one another as monogamous ( or in certain situations, polyamorous / group situations can be adjusted ) partners, they will announce their union before the counsel, beta and alpha. Each member of the leadership will then gift them something to reflect on their glorious unification. Then, they are given a private den for the night with a feast and luxurious circumstances. Death Ceremony - When a pack member has died, they are buried in the territory with the counsel, beta and alpha present to give remembrance and respect. They are then buried with an item or token that was important to them or their characteristics.

the nuclear fall out of 2020 had brought the world to it’s knees. the raging of countries and alliances had brought out the worst in the human species. eventually mass extinction of the human race, and multiple other animal species across the continents, had become the result years later. radiation and unstable environments had demolished cities from paris to berlin to even the far reaches of los angeles. the instability of the environment from the skies above to the ground below had brought and reigned terror upon all those who had remained after the fallout. through the next decade of chaos and terror, the earth had eventually begun to settle once more, free of the pollution and toxins that came with the existence of the human race that had threatened to reach the trillions by the time of the nuclear fallout. grass became green once more, wildlife populations were beginning to climb, some animals who were trapped in zoos had managed to escape, and populate in irregular parts of the world, and cities. tigers seemed to prowl the streets of new york, and alligators basked on the sidewalks of miami. however, the northwest of north america, it seemed that a gathering ground of canines had grown: the dogs. a mass population of dogs had traveled, word spreading across the land that there was an established society for man’s best friend to flourish and survive. as time passed, this large group banded together to form the Armageddon pack, an established group that had years to precise its form of existence and hierarchy.
