20+ only. I am craving something vintage 🥂 and a little less conventional. MxM. Lately, it feels every plot I see is the same as the last. The same characters, dynamics, tropes. To each their own, but! I'd like something new. Unique. Ours, if you will!
This will be long-term. Someone active, present in planning, and equally as invested as I am is a non-negotiable. Give me passion! Mutual interest! Effort! This will include heavy world-building. I could brainstorm for hoooours and ask that you're the same. No passive plotters, one-sidedness, or dry responses, please, I beg.
Looking for someone capable of evocative, poetic writing. Possibly with a classic sort of feel to it. I write semi-literate to novella. Mirror Literacy. 3rd person. Though, I am wanting something more rapid-fire. 2k – 8k characters average. Ideally, with someone who can manage at least one reply a week.
Someone with little to no triggers is ideal. The darker and grittier the RP, the better. That being said, I would also like to include smut. Ratio and content can be discussed in private.
I am dying to write a dynamic with some variety. Give me men who know what they want, yet refuse to reach for it. Men who are imperfect. Men who make mistakes. Give me the kind of sexual tension that eats them alive, a pining they can feel in their bones, a devotion that terrifies them. Give me something messy and broken that they cut their hands on anyway because they just can't help it. Give me heated, needy nights that end in cold, lonely mornings. Give me men that hurt each other, then piece one another back together afterward. Give me something new. Give me variety! ✨️ Settings that interest me go as follows, all will take place between the 1950s – 70s:
Agents of the CIA. Think: secretive meetings in seedy motels. Covert operations caged within the throes of hostile terrain. The clean lines of sharp suits. The high-tech optimism of the Space-Age crumbling into institutional fatigue. Brutalist concrete government architecture, ever-looming. Cold War tensions amid an exhausted bureaucracy.
Agents of the KGB. Think: Neighbors watching neighbors; State ears hidden within hotel walls. Brutalist, Stalinite architecture. The ever-present weight of distrust; No one is who they say they are. Bureaucratic clutter holding secrets with gravity. The clash between the grand utopian promise of state communism and the grinding, grey reality of economic stagnation and corruption.
Detectives pitted against a crime that might prove too much for them to swallow. Think: Small-town charm that hides something sinister. Amber street lamps, the neon flickering of a diner's sign, cigarette smoke catching on a single shaft of window light. Neighbors hiding dark truths. Picturesque streets concealing bloodied secrets. Post-Vietnam cynicism, economic stagnation, and quiet despair.
Agents of the FBI. Think: the polished, Hoover uniform. Institutional control v. Chaos—absolute authority clashing with an increasingly turbulent, unpredictable decade. Pristine suburban lawns hiding organized crime syndicates, corruption, and deep-seated prejudices. Cold War paranoia and the constant hunt for Communist infiltration. A society right on the cusp of a more complex, digital era.
Settings are kept vague intentionally. I do not have concrete plots. This is ours to build. So by all means, send your boys my way.
