i don’t think anybody is immune to disliking a group for things they cant control

especially if someone is raised with it

so we have to try and see where we do that and fight it

yes i can dislike a person individually for things i know about them or just because i don’t vibe with them but disliking someone i don’t know anything about? for things they cant control? i don’t want that

so i keep trying to work on it and i have gotten really far with it

ask why people got into the situations they are in instead of assuming its their fault or that they are not trying

self discovery can be rough but seeing something you don’t want and ignoring it is a problem

changing is one of the hardest things one can do but please try to change to become who you want to be

if a mind reader every wants to fluster me all they got to do is tell me they can read my mind and then call me cute cuz ill spiral myself into melting to the point my mind is just the intense feeling of being flustered

23 is the dumbest of ages.

Not really early 20s… not mid twenties either.

Just kinda… existing.

But maybe every age feels like that.

Everything is liminal, between the half remembered past and the unknown future.

honestly been spending the last 5 min figuring out how old i was again

after reaching 21 i have just kinda gave up on tracking wat age i am as 0-21 every birthday brought something but after 21? uhhh adult plus uhhh?? well you already can do everything so age stops mattering, when i was 17 i was excited about becoming 18 because it changed things but after 21 everything is just the same but a number goes up every ones in a while

from here on out its all liminal

just spend your time in a way that matters to you. after all turning 24 wont suddenly give that to you

sitting my ass down on the kitchen floor at 2am cuz my fuck ass took a little too much insulin before bed and now i have to drink the juice that was already too sweet for my tastes before i got diabetes and that i now react to like a shot glass filled with vanilla extract and im on my 17th intake of this horror to my mouth

i felt sick from the diabetes but now i feel sicker from that stuff but at least my body isnt breaking itself down anymore

#this both makes things more fun and also is a really good analogy#because there are four types of system maintenance and that makes the term much more exact than the nebulous ''self-care''#and therefore much more helpful to those of us who uhhh struggle with nebulosity#for anyone curious the four types are:#1. corrective (to fix current problems)#2. preventative (to avoid future problems)#3. adaptative (to re-adjust to any changes)#4. perfective (to work towards a better system)#I really like this idea I'm gonna make a checklist
