please stop saying you didn’t vote because you thought they were a lock. if you want them to be captains, you still have to vote. that’s literally how this works. if you want a’ja and paige at the top, go vote. don’t assume everyone else is gonna do it for you because clearly that’s not working. and honestly, the same thing applies to azzi too. i’ve seen some people stop voting for paige because they’re trying to get azzi higher, but now paige is down to #4 and azzi is still sitting at #11. meanwhile i’m over here voting for both of them every day 😭 all-star voting has always been a popularity contest, that’s just the reality of how fan voting works. paige is one of the most well-known players in women’s basketball, so she’s naturally going to get votes from people outside of her own fanbase too. that doesn’t mean azzi deserves less support. if anything, it means people should keep voting for both instead of acting like it has to be one or the other. they’re not competing against each other, and their fanbases don’t need to either. if you want azzi to move up, vote for azzi. if you want paige to stay near the top, vote for paige. you can literally do both
