i don’t know about you, but i hurt my arse just by going down the waterslide. i think i got way too excited. but hey, it’s a wedding vacation. also, just wanted to let you all know, if anyone tries to object at the wedding, i will voluntarily tackle you myself. now that’s out of the way, who wants to be my vacay buddy for the rest of the trip?

can i just say how much i love destination weddings ? they’re just so much fun. i need an official ‘vacay buddy’ job description before i sign up. 

That’s the best kind of times to threaten, good ones! They sound perfect and I want to spend all the time I can with them, and of course you as well because I think it’ll be a perfect time all around. You’re welcome to join me whenever you’d like. How can one not like lavender is the question? And it’s always been my key to finding the best vegan places wherever I am! I might be trying to charm you, you’ll never know for sure! I wouldn’t be against finding someone and finding a little romance, but I’m also feeling hesitant still since my divorce hasn’t even been a year yet. I mostly just explore by myself, I also really enjoy finding places to have picnics and read.

i mean, i guess ----- but, threats are threats in my book ! i don’t know; i feel like some people think lavender is an ‘old person smell.’ which is fine, honestly --- i feel like i’m mentally and emotionally eighty years old most of the time, so. i get that. i didn’t even marry pete, and it took a good while to let go of everything. go at your own pace, babe ! what’s the best book you’ve read lately ?

All I’m hearing from this is your mom and nonna are who I need to go on trips with? As someone that enjoys partaking in a few drinks, I think they would match my vibe pretty well. You might have to come along to babysit the three of us, because I can’t promise you that the Grande family wouldn’t act foolish because the Kravitz in me would encourage them. Paris has always been one of my favorite cities since my father has spent so much time here, and I will eat as many macarons for you as I can, honey. Lavender has always been one of my favorites, and I just recently found a vegan bakery here that makes amazing ones. I haven’t found anyone to smooch under the Eiffel Tower. I also haven’t been looking either, which might be why I haven’t found one.

I decided that since I’ve got a bit of downtime right now, I was going to treat myself to a little vacation. Since my dear old dad has a pretty epic place in Paris, I figured I’d spend a few weeks here and just relax. Do you consider it a vacation, though, if you’re spending time at one of your parents houses? Does it become more of a vacation when the parent isn’t there as well? Because he’s thankfully not here right now, and that means I have the whole place to myself. Not that I wouldn’t have been thrilled to spend time with him had he been here, but sometimes you just need a little me time, right? Either way, I’ve done all the typical things you do while you’re in Paris, hit every single tourist spot, even though I’ve been to them all a million times. But now I’m looking for some non-typical things to do in Paris, or it could be anywhere in Europe; just something that isn’t touristy would have me thrilled. ( @hollyweirdstarters​ )

oof ----- with my mother and nonna, i can’t tell you if the vacation becomes more of a vacation or more of babysitting their drunk asses to make sure the grande family isn’t made a fool of in public. it probably depends on the time and place, to be perfectly honest ! paris, though ---- what a beaut. eat lots of macarons for me, because i’m a sucker for them. especially the lavender ones ! they’re to die for. have you found a pretty french person to smooch under the eiffel tower ? i hear that’s a tourist staple.

I’ve gotta say, so far thirty-five has been a blast. I’m only a day and a half into it, but hey, it could be worse. I had a lovely dinner with friends last night and it’s made me feel so special. @hollyweirdstarters

i was reading the christmas killer by alex pine. but i have also been reading red, white & royal blue if you’re into something a bit softer? no bugs are so terrifying, i just can’t deal with them and half the time it’s like they come out of nowhere and just attack. oh my gosh, that’s so sweet of her, what an absolute sweetie, that just absolutely warms my heart when people do that, it’s the little things like that that can make someones day. the pay it forward mentality is so cute, and you probably just saved someone who didn’t have enough money in their account to do that.

To anyone who saw me at the Met Gala after party shoving my face with pizza and crying, no you didn’t. What a night that was though. Besides that, I did the Lizzo dance on the clock app the other day too to get the serotonin vibes going. I’d marry that woman honestly. Is there a song or person that instantly just gives you those happy vibes? It’s definitely Lizzo and my daughter for me, at least.

what kind of pizza was it, though ? that’s what i want to know ! can hardly blame you, though ---- the gala’s a blast but can also be intense as fuck. it totally makes sense to me that you wanted to unwind with a comfort food. by lizzo dance, do you mean the tiktok dance that’s cycling around to that new song, ‘about damn time ?’ if so.. receipts or it didn’t happen. person is probably my nonna, or adam. as for the song, obsessed by mariah carey is an anthem.

So life, life happens huh. I’ve been on tour for the last few weeks, festivals, shows all of it and wow, the rockstar life is insane, then I have to set off to do some press, I knew life was gonna hit me hard but, not this hard. I much prefer my couch, thanks. @hollyweirdstarters​
