but this does really make me think of an addition someone put on one of my posts where she talked about being so afraid of being seen as “socialized male” that she would get panic attacks when she tried to speak up. because we say in the trans community that we’ve rejected the idea of gendered socialization but we clearly haven’t. if someone who was assigned female at birth is being sexist, the response is either that people who were afab can’t be sexist (wrong) or it’s ignored. if someone who was assigned male at birth is being sexist, there’s a nuclear level meltdown about whether or not it’s “male socialization” or should be called out in the first place and like. the answer is really simple??? anyone can be sexist, and if someone is being sexist, they should be corrected. it has nothing to do with agab (both the incorrect idea that ppl who were afab can’t perpetuate sexism, and the incorrect idea that ppl who were amab are somehow inherently more likely to be sexist) and everything to do with just trying to be a better person and unlearn the bullshit we all grew up hearing.

so whenever someone new comes over and i offer to let them use the wifi i tell them the password is "onthefridge" and they go and look at the fridge and are met with all this femboy ass and are like where is it there's a lot of stuff here and i reiterate it's onthefridge and they go where!!! and i come over and type "onthefridge" into their phone and they get so mad

I'm suspicious of any model where we use ideas of health – be it physical in the sense of ""safe"" kink (which btw funny how many people don't see choking and spanking as unsafe because it's commonplace) or in the mental sense of ""sane"" kink (which means God knows what for people who aren't considered 'sane' by neurotypical standards) – to allow or disallow consensual and autonomous activities, or indeed to grant ideological legitimacy to them.

Risk-aware consensual kink is the best way to express this. There will always be risk, no matter how kinky or how "vanilla" sex is. But if you are aware of the risks and consent to them... go for it. :)

i made this because i find pain to be a multifaceted thing that influences me in different ways. i can accomplish lots of small tasks while in pain but that doesnt mean i can move around or even think clearly. its name is the goldstein expanded pain index or gepi. you can use it if you want. or not.

And now they seem to think they can just bring accountability back? If they had numbers they could point to maybe it would work, but that's half the battle here. They are desperate to avoid releasing anything that tells anyone outside the company what the hell is going on. So we are just supposed to take their word for it, no really bro, it's actually really bad for you and all the strikers fault if only you could see the numbers that we refuse to show you, you're just gonna have to trust us bro.

And actually we can tie this into police too considering how often the good ones (whistleblowers, court witnesses, just anyone who ever talkd about police brutality and violence) end up "accidentally" killed by other cops. If that's not a form of cannibalism then idk what is.
