hey! to get the original resolution of her posts, i usually open instagram on the web on my computer and download it from there.

i'm using google chrome: open the exact post you want in a new tab, right click anywhere on the page and select Inspect.

This box with a bunch of code will appear on the right of your screen. Click on Network on the top right of the bar (see the yellow box below)!

Now reload the page - press reload like you usually would or right click on your screen and press reload. This will load all assets from the page you're viewing, including all images.

You'll see that it will list everything that's on the page. It will show you All by default but you only want images, so go ahead and click on Img to filter everything else.

Now only images will be listed! This will also load other images that you don't need so you'll click on them to see a preview. Refer to the thumbnails to find the image you want - the post's image will usually be in the first few rows. Right click on the row to open the image in a new tab and then just save your image from that new tab!

If it's a post with multiple images/slides (a carousel), then press the next button on the instagram post like you're scrolling the carousel. The next few images of the post will load onto the list automatically and usually appears at the bottom of the list as you scroll. This process is pretty quick, just takes some getting used to :)
