Oddly specific Ryuunosuke Akutagawa headcanons
⚘ He has a lot of beauty marks. Mostly from the neck down. The most prominent ones are beside his left eye, on his left shoulder and his belly.
❀ He plays with rashoumon when he's bored, or just idle. He makes funny figures with it, or explores new ways to use it. That's how he got so used to making those beautiful shapes even when he's in the middle of battle.
⚘ The first time rashoumon appeared as a dragon, he was trying to scare away other kids that were trying to steal from his group. He learned intimidation techniques before he learned to fight.
❀ He has the best handwriting in all the Port Mafia. No one likes to admit it. He's secretly proud of it but won't show off unless Gin nudges him to.
⚘ He used to braid Gin's hair when they were growing up. She still lets him sometimes, when one of them needs the familiarity behind it. He's the only person she'll allow so close behind her.
❀ He's uncomfortable with most jewelry but will never miss the chance to wear a fancy neck piece. Usually his jabot takes its place, or he finds a fancy cravat, a scarf, a bow, etc. When he wears necklaces, they're statement pieces, and never close to his throat.
⚘ He still buys and wears the same cologne Dazai used to wear when he was in the mafia. Even after reuniting again and finding out he stopped using it. When Dazai called him to the place where they met during the DOA arc, he wore it again just to toy with Akutagawa.
❀ His favorite type of music are movie soundtracks. It's the only thing he'll actually pick to play. Otherwise, he just listens to the radio. He used to love listening to Dazai's piano playing, but now piano music makes him cry.
⚘ He cries a lot. A LOT. Silent, hugging yourself, leaning against the door, crying. Ugly, woke up with red eyes and an irritated throat crying. Usually as soon as he gets home. Sometimes he doesn't even know why. Just a lot of repressed emotions.
❀ He's very good at remembering how people like their drinks. Be it their coffee, their tea, or which types of alcohol they like. He deeply cherishes any moment where sharing food is involved.
⚘ His veins are very prominent. His hands are cold all the time. His skin is far too thin where it's healthy, and most of his scars are keloids.
❀ Gin and him have the same nose and face shape, but they got their eyes and mouth from different parents. Their hands were really similar too, until they started training and each of them got different scars and adapted to different fighting styles.
⚘ Stims with his hands to self regulate. Usually it's just fidgeting, hidden inside his pockets or disguised as adjusting his clothes. He finger drums a lot and spins his pens in his hands. He rocks back and forth when no one's watching.
❀ He has fairy lights in his room. Don't ask me why. He also likes astronomy. He prefers rooms without windows to the outside but loves a big balcony in another part of the house.
⚘ He has read the Bible. Like, the whole book. It didn't convert him to Christianity, but it sparked a deep interest in religion.
❀ He's good at singing. He struggles with it, because it's hard to breathe, and his throat hurts too much some days. But his singing voice is very soft and expressive.
